Told Paula today that I was down 18 pounds as of today. She wanted me to write a review and tell you about my experiences. First and foremost, I love being able to come in and work out whenever I please. That’s a huge bonus for me with my crazy schedule. Second, I love the fact that they have a sauna.
Only bad part about that is having to wait for someone to let me in so I can use it. It’s quiet and I never worry about some random weirdo coming in while I’m working out. I tell anyone I can about CAPA.

Called and submit for a personal trainer multiple times. Worked out with a lady one time. I didn’t like how she didn’t take into account me telling her that I have lower back issues with her continuously having me do floor ab routines. I pulled through nonetheless. However, she never returned my calls or texts to figure out another time to train. She could’ve at least let me know that she didn’t want to work with me again and referred to me to the next trainer, but no communication seems to be the theme in this area. Personal trainers either don’t contact you at all or they pull a stunt like this one. I had to go all the way to Akron to workout with a trainer. The only reason I’m looking again is because of the commute and him relocating in a couple of weeks.

I had the opportunity to visit Combat Athlete Performance Academy at the end of September, and I couldn't be more impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, Paula and Chris were incredibly welcoming and inviting, making me feel right at home. Their passion for coaching and commitment to athlete development was evident from the start, and it set the tone for the entire visit.
The facility itself is top-tier, with a variety of training areas designed to help athletes of all levels improve. Whether you're focused on strength training, conditioning, or perfecting your technique, everything is set up to support your growth. I appreciated how well-maintained and organized everything was—every detail seemed carefully considered.
One of the standout aspects of the academy is the community. Everyone, from the coaches to fellow athletes, is supportive and focused on mutual growth. The camaraderie created a motivating environment, where I felt both pushed and encouraged to continue improving.
Overall, my visit to Combat Athlete Performance Academy was fantastic. Paula and Chris made me feel like part of the team, and I left feeling motivated, energized, and eager to return. If you're looking to elevate your skills in a professional and supportive environment, this academy is definitely worth checking out.

My family and I absolutely love it here. The staff is wonderful, it's clean, lots of equipment to choose from. The workers treat us like family and it is just a great environment to be in. If I could give this place a 10 star, I would!!!

Came to capa while I was in town for a month can’t say enough great things about this gym!! Very clean and well stocked for personal workouts and the 24/7 access was amazing. Took Paula’s fighter fit classes as well which I’ve never done anything like it before but she coached me from the ground up and I felt confident quickly! Can’t wait to visit again some day!

All the staff are dedicated to give you a personal workout. They will sit down with you and see what you are looking for. Now with sauna, I am there even more!

Awesome boot camp, fighter fit and personal defense classes. Seminars give great information and you always have personal one on one feel with the trainers. I truly enjoy the family atmosphere and the way everyone pushes each other to get better. I love this gym!

I tried calling this facility, the number “doesn’t exist”, and goes straight to an operator. So I decided to go to the gym to check it out in person. It’s lovely inside, very nice, very clean, the kind of place I’d love to be a part of if only there was someone at the desk. Door sign said open, there was a man there, flat out ignored me, no one else in sight, no business cards, no accurate phone number. Would love to get some info about this gym.

There is no reason this facility should be ruined by poor people skills and bad management. I am tired of elitist facilities. Enjoy being exclusive all by your lonesome.I have contacted a gym all the way out in ireland and they COMMUNICATED with me. And even welcomed me in for a day. There is no welcoming here. Youre lucky to be graced by their presence.

I have been going to the gym for several months now and it is the best work out regiment I have found. There is a variety of different classes that keep you engaged. The people are nice and there is a real sense of community and camaraderie. Brian the owner is extremely knowledgeable and provides one on one training to help you reach your goals. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join the gym.

I LOVE this gym!!! I have been taking the classes and feel like I get such an amazing workout. The staff is so uplifting and committed to each individual member.I highly recommend the combative class (self-defense) and wish I had taken it earlier in my life. I think EVERYONE would benefit from knowing how how to handle themselves in a scary situation.Check it out! It might just be the gym and workouts you've been looking for and have been missing. It's a real game-changer for me.
