These clowns marked my jeep with red paint pen that wont come off ,went today to see them to clean it up,was given the runaround and still waiting to hear from these incompetence people.

Absolutely unacceptable.
This company received payment from my insurance provider at the end of 2023. I have documentation confirming this. Despite that, they stalled and deflected for over a year, offering excuse after excuse instead of honoring the work they were paid to perform.
Now, nearly a year and a half later—with the damage worsening and active leaks occurring—they’re suddenly claiming they were never paid. That is a blatant lie, and I have proof.
This negligence has caused significant financial strain, as I now face even more costly repairs due to their inaction. Emotionally, it has been exhausting and deeply frustrating to be misled and ignored while my car (and means of livlihood) continues to deteriorate.
This is not a trustworthy business. My attorney be involved moving forward.
I strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere—you deserve better than this.
[Update – June 2025]
Unfortunately, things only got worse. After finally getting my car in, I was told the repair would take 5 days and that they’d cover the rental vehicle. Cute, right? 14 days, and I received my car back filthy inside, with random bolts and tools left in it, and the fender not aligned properly.
When I brought this up, I was told I’d need to take another full day off work to bring it back for them to “clean it up and fix it right.” Because apparently $10,000 billed to my insurance doesn’t include basic workmanship or respect for the customer’s time.
Then came the cherry on top: $652 charged by Enterprise, a full week after I returned the rental—to the card I left for incidentals only. No warning, no heads-up, just a charge. When I called the shop, they claimed they only covered 5 days—they had my vehicle for 14.
So now I’m out over $1,000 of my own money, and my car still isn’t right. The only consistent thing throughout this entire experience has been poor communication, dishonesty, and zero accountability.
I’ve done my part—gave them patience, documentation, and multiple chances. What I got in return was a complete lack of professionalism and one headache after another.
Avoid this place. You’ll thank yourself later.

Deer are causing significant issues currently. One damaged my truck substantially. I encountered some delays with the headlight repairs and a few oversight issues due to communication breakdowns. The day was here my truck was ready for pick up, I came to pick my truck up and noticed they didn't see the damage on the door from the deer, and forgot to replace my tire! However, they apologized and took care of things right away! Gerber ensured that I had reliable transportation to and from work after my rental period expired. Notably, they also addressed some pre-existing dings unrelated to the deer incident. I highly appreciate their kind gestures and the consistent daily updates on the repair status. I finally have my truck back, and it looks better now than it did before it was sent to them. Everyone makes mistakes…… I’m just glad they made things right and made sure it was fixed correctly!

I had an accident and I took my vehicle there as it was recommended by my insurance company. So far they have been really easy to deal with and the one estimator has been a gem from the start. So so far I have a good experience I will update after the repairs are done. It isn't finished yet.

Their work and service is absolutely
Crap. They do not care about the work they do or if their customers are satisfied. I hit a deer in October and the work was finished the first week of November… went to pick it up and the mirror had a chunk of plastic missing, paint was bubbly and had an “orange peel” appearance, and a few other minor things. Told us to bring it back in seen what we were talking about told us they’d call us within a week because it would only be a few days job. Four days from going into 2025 and still no phone call to schedule him. Would recommend to steer clear from this place.

Still waiting for our car that was to be repaired. Promised last friday(til a power outage, not their fault ) changed that. On moday, they called and said they would call back and have it ready by 4:30 pm. Never called us back. I called this morning and was told that the guy had to take a look over of the car and was offered to stay on hold or to hang up and get a return call in a few minutes. Here we are, it's been an hour and still no call. Was i supposed to sit on hold for an hour. Not impressed with their garage customer service.

staff is very friendly at all times and did amazing work on my car. they even cleaned it on the inside and on the outside for me. shoutout to Jim, Shara, and Kevin for making that stressful time as smooth as possible. i’m so glad I went to them to get it fixed, highly recommend.

Had some pretty bad deer damage on my brand new Audi Q7 , insurance recommended gerber to me, with a 3 week wait (cus parts were hard to come across) and clear communication the whole entire time !!!! I would recommend this company to anyone needing body work done ! Looks like nothing ever happened ! Thanks so much

They repaired my Ford Escape from some deer damage. Did a great job and was done couple days earlier than they said. Stayed in contact while the were repairing. Would highly recommend.

They got me in immediately to look over my car and take pictures to get an estimate, that was good! However we are over 2 weeks now and no one has called or sent me a quote. I have called twice to ask where is my estimate. The first time I could tell it was never done but Jim said "oh I will need 1 more hour to finish and I will email it to you and then call to discuss." Jim never called or emailed. I called back 4 days later, spoke with another man who tried to apologize and said they will get it done and call me back the next day. That never happened either. Maybe business is booming and they don't need my business. I had to find another location that the insurance works with to go to.

Gerber did an amazing job fixing my car. Jim was awesome to work with. I had expected them to have my car for a week or two but they had all work including cleaning completed in 3 days. I am beyond impressed thank you all very much.

Forget about this place, was told by State Farm to get an estimate from a list of repair shops. This was third on my list. Was told I would have to make an appointment and come back. Explained that this was my wife's car, and this was the day I had the car for estimates. That it was today or never. The young lady behind the desk chose never. Wow! Oh well, if this is any idea of how they cater to their customers, and it is, forget about this place. Diane Sauer bodyshop treated me like an old friend. Looks like I found my bodyshop. The bodyshop of Niles also treated my great, would go there, but Diane Sauer is closer.
