Every time I rent from Hertz in Warren-Youngstown, it is a great experience. Not trying to be corny, but they treat me like family, and I appreciate it. That is when I pick up and when I drop off.

This place is a scam they have hidden fees dat wasn’t disclosed before I got a rental from them they charge me an extra $800 for young renters fee secretly when I had the car for a month and was paying 517 a week.. isn’t the young renters fee suppose to be included with the weekly rate as I repay it weekly? instead it was a hidden fee dat wasn’t disclosed before I rented the car I will never recommend anybody to do business with these people and they said they approved my refund but I call a week later n now it wasn’t approved I do not like hertz I really hope this company gets shut down enterprise got this place beat by a landslide. Trash company will never see my money again n I will tarnish dis company til I die and I will be pursuing legal action against this company and also charged me $133 for gas when I refuel the truck before returning and they also got my credit card account closed from the amount they over charged me I will be contacting Ohio attorney n bbb this place needs to be shut down

Horrible customer service at Warren location. Employee was extremely rude today, June 3, 2025 at 1:10pm... the jerk canceled my AAA reservation after I booked a 3rd row SUV for next week and he told me I booked a standard SUV. Even though I had the printout in my hand. He was dismissive and was just rude. Called AAA per his directive and they told me my reservation was canceled by the vendor with no explanation cited. I do not recommend Hertz in Warren, OH. 0/10.

I needed to rent a car while mine was getting some work done. In order for my rental to be covered by my warranty it had to be a Ford. I explained this to them and they assured me they could make it work by changing the vin shown on the receipt to a ford vin once I returned the rental. I returned the car, and now they are saying they cannot change the vin to show it was a ford . Now I’m stuck paying for the rental and can’t be reimbursed like they promised. Not happy.

Says online they accept debit cards. Get there to pick up the car and they wont take my debit card. Update your website if your going to allow online bookings

Don't recommend. They run your credit just to rent a car. They didn't tell me anything about a credit check when I booked my reservation and they left me scrambling to find a vehicle while my car was in the shop being repaired. I would recommend Enterprise over hertz any day! Enterprise charges $300 on top of your reservation, which is then returned when you return their vehicle. But to leave me stranded and not even let me pay for it with cash even? Hard pass. I will not be returning.

When I need a rental car while visiting locally, I use Hertz. Left Enterprise due to cost and have never had an issue with this Hertz until today. I made a last minute reservation that the website allowed. Took an Uber to this Hertz store only to be told no cars were available and when I asked why could I not have been called to tell me this, the manager said they have a 2 hour window. I over heard him tell another upset customer who made and paid for a reservation 2.months ago they had no car for her either and one wouldn't be available until this evening. This manager knew he wouldn't have cars until this afternoon so there is no reason he couldn't have made a simple phone call when I made my reservation. I ended up having to pay for two separate Uber drivers to get to and from home due to the lack of simple common courtesy. I also didn't appreciate the two staff members at the counter drop the f bomb while I was sitting there. I swear myself but conduct myself professionally when on the job. Im sure the General Manager would also love to know his subordinate thinks he's a crybaby. Need to do better.

Avoid this place at all cost! In addition to the rental charge they added $500, thats five hundred dollars for “outside washing” onto my bill they also charged $44 for A gallon of gas. The car wasn’t excessively dirty or damaged in any way they just added $500 for “outside washing” onto my cc. I got the car with a quarter tank of gas and they charged $44 for gas. I contacted OH attorney general and BBB. $500 for car wash? Who ever heard of such a thing? I have 2 charges totaling $798.88 for a one week rental of a Toyota Camry when it should have been $254.92. This place is a scam and should be investigated and sued.
