1993 we opened our first Sherwin Williams account as a paint company. Been only using SW paints for 30+ years. In 2017 we changed the name of company and started a new account. Every few months I get my pricing for the materials we buy updated in the system so we can stay competitive with the other paint suppliers as far as a contractor dealing with paint daily. I recently did a job in Warren drywall finishing and painting for residential customer. I decided to use the SW on Elm road instead of my store where I live. What a mistake. They treated me like a bum. Hourly employees haven't been mixing paint half as long as I've been in business treating us like we were stupid from the very beginning of the first trip in the store. They fought me on my pricing and I had to get refunded at my home store for everything I bought there. Even when they got it rite they still made sure to charge an extra dollar for everything on my 4th trip in. The homeowner insisted we use eggshell on a smooth ceiling we installed drywall on. I tried and tried to get them to use flat or matte paint but she would not. On the final day she decided she didn't like the sheen on the ceiling so she took the promar 200 can into the store to get color matched while I was working on something else in a flat paint like I originally wanted. Instead of the salesman giving her the promar 200 flat he told her the problem was the paint quality was too low and she needed to buy a more expensive paint. And she did end up buying cashmere instead. When she returned she made sure she told me I used cheap paint and this was the reason for the ceiling being too shiny because that's what the salesman told her. So I painted the ceiling again with the flat cashmere and was not able to charge her for a 3rd coat because of that salesman. Also made me look like I am a bad contractor who uses shitty paint. Cost me 3 hours of labor without pay instead of just giving her the flat promar 200 and keeping his mouth shut. I will never take my business to this store again. My account fluctuating between 1500 to 5000 a month at Sherwin Williams for 30 years and this is the service I get from these guys just because they might not have ever seen me before in this store. It's a shame they did that just to get a few extra dollars on a gallon of paint. If you are a contractor I would avoid this store because they do not care about your company looking good to a customer.

I love the ease of ordering my paint online and receiving an email when it is ready for pick up. Which is usually same day or next day. All employees at the Elm Rd Warren Ohio location have always been great and helpful!

Excellent staff, great products. The Emerald paint has looked beautiful on my kitchen cabinets for going on four years now. It still looks as beautiful as it did the first day.
