I had a great time here with my family, we used the pool and gym services. Some features weren't available due to the remodel they have in place. ALWAYS** Remember to check your checkout time, as I didn't at this location and I should've. Housekeeping mentioned checkout was 2PM When I asked. I got a call on room phone from Management stating checkout is 12P. I had to rearrange my plans to fit the checkout time. Outside of that, it was a good stay besides the small frustration!

*WARNING* This hotel is undergoing a remodel. It doesn't indicate that on the website or anywhere else. I walked up to the front door where I found a small sign indicating the doors were closed due to the lobby remodel, and to please enter through the back door breakfast area...I drove around the building to find multiple storage containers sitting near the building blocking the parking spaces. The side entrance door was wide open, so I parked there and went inside. The front desk was empty and roped off. There is a tacky "Bear with us, remodeling, blah, blah, blah" easel down the hall. As it turns out that is where I found the front desk attendant stuffed away in a closet with a hole cut out of the wall. She wasn't facing me, but eventually turned and greeted me. She informed me that there is no breakfast due to the remodel. The room has been gassed with some chemical fragrance which is giving me a headache and sore throat. The room is outdated as is the rest of the hotel, so I get the need for the remodel. The amenities are not worth the money and the atmosphere sucks. If I only new what I had committed to prior to booking.

RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could get away with negative stars I'd do so. Where do I begin? First off they only have one washer and dryer available to customers. And it took the dryer over 2 hours to dry a small load the other load I had to take soaking wet clothes to the front desk and ask them to dry them. 2nd the floors are stained, there was blood on the inside of the lamp shade. The halls smelled horrible. It smelled like something was always burning. I am so upset because just for 2 nights spent almost $300.00 that's insane! I'm so disappointed and I have alot of family in town and I warned them all and they warned all they people they know not to stay here. I had my 6lb dog with me. I felt more bad for her I wanted to leave as soon as we got to the room. I will not be returning..

If I could have selected a negative rating I would have. Booked weeks in advance only to be booted from the room I reserved. Bad corporate and local hotel management policys. I will never ever stay at an IGH hotel again.

Overall - not a horrible experience...but could have been better.Beds are OK...and the breakfast looks like its going to be good (haven't had it yet.)But - if you stay at any Holiday Inn - make sure you check-in early, bring your own soap and keep your shoes on (read on to find out why!)Staff did the best they could given the situation - and were very helpful to the extent they could be.However -(1) We "lost" our suite b/c the 3rd-party reservations resulted in the hotel being over-booked...so when we arrived - someone else had gotten our suite, leaving us in a smaller/cramped room....We ended up getting two rooms to give us the space we needed....definitely not what we were expecting after having been driving for most of the day....worst part was - we had the opportunity to check-in remotely (before we even departed on our journey which brought us there)...knowing we had a reservation - figured we were OK. We were soooo wrong!(2) Next disappointment was the general cleanliness of the room I was in...I'm aware there is some type if remodeling going on - which might contribute to the "stale" smell that was lingering in the room (we didn't notice it in the other room we had.) Beyond the stale smell - I also found a piece of what looked like orange chicken on the floor in the room...and the inside of the shower curtain had what I could only guess were "boogers" from previous guests "stuck" on the curtain. Just gross!(3) The last issue was also related to the shower...there was no "body" soap or wash...but the front desk did have bars available when I asked...then there was the shampoo/conditioner pumps that are in the shower...I was excited to see they offered DOVE products (which I like and have used at home) - and that they had larger bottles in the wall-mounted pumps for us to use (sometimes the small individual bottles don't have enough product for all of us) - however the placement of the pumps was "too high" - and must have been geared for someone 6 foot tall...as a result - when I went to dispense the conditioner - it wound up all over my face and in my mouth (I'm not 6 ft tall.) Another "yuck" moment.Noteworthy details: Great tea selection compared to most hotels...and the in-room Keurig is better than those little single brew coffee makers...Enjoyed the cookies they had available also...and looking forward to the breakfast.

I stayed in this hotel for a night because my father was having surgery at the hospital in town. The hotel is OK, nothing too offensive about the rooms or amenities, but I had problems almost immediately. I was in and out of my room a lot because I had a lot going on, and every time I left my room my room key would stop working. This happened so many times I lost count. No solution, just an annoyed reaction and "here's another set of keys that will stop working immediately!" Extremely frustrating when you have a lot to do, to have to constantly get new room keys. Then, I unfortunately left behind a few small personal items (a book, a notebook, etc., nothing of real value to anyone else) and when I contacted them about it I never received a response. It's really not hard to provide a basic level of customer service. And, working keys are kind of important. And no, front desk, I didn't rub them on my phone or whatever blame the customer game you wanna play. Figure it out.

We have stayed at this hotel since it was brand new -- usually every year or every other year to visit family. It's still the best hotel in Washington Courthouse (which isn't saying much), but I think it's time for the owner to walk the property and start taking care of deferred maintenance items like, backed up drains, missing tile in the shower enclosures, worn out carpeting that's starting to ripple up (tripping hazard), dirty seating in the breakfast room, etc.
Also the last few times we've stayed there, it's become the home to lots of guys from (highway?) work crews. They outnumber guests in the breakfast room and most aren't very clean, which could explain the dirty furniture. They are well mannered, but staying with a bunch of grotty construction guys isn't what I'd expect for this price point and brand. I know it's revenue, but...
When (not if) they start replacing the carpeting, they should do what other pet friendly hotels are doing; use commercial grade vinyl plank flooring with noise abating underlayments. That will be much easier to maintain and you won't have that musty smell from aging & dirty carpets.
Let's get this good property back to excellent!

A very solid hotel. The bed was pillowtop fluffy, but good support underneath. Pillows were new and had a choice between fluffy and good support. Room was clean and bathroom was new.
Light hygiene for room was pretty good. The microwave and the red eye of Sauron from the TV were the only outliers. It'd be nice to not to have to bring tape with me for trips.
We had to roll up a towel underneath the door to kill the last of the light pollution.
The breakfast was standard travel hotel fare, but amply provided and reasonably done.
The total was about $185 for a night. Modern hotels are terribly pricey.

I wish I could select a better than 5-star rating. The staff at this facility was the most professional people I’ve had the pleasure to encounter ever! My room was comfortable, clean, and roomy. I travel a lot for work, but this trip was due to a family emergency. What started as a one-night stay turned into four nights. Although my journey to this area wasn’t for a happy occasion, I genuinely believe the sense of conference I had in where I was staying helped me through four challenging days—a big THANK YOU to the Management and Staff. I will stay at this location every time I’m traveling in this area.Rooms: Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great night sleep on wonderful pillows and a comfortable bed. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great night sleep on wonderful pillows and a comfortable mattress.Nearby activities: Wonderful old town feeling great shopping, restaurants and museums.Safety: I never feared walking in or out of the hotel.I felt confident my car quest safe as I was parked, and I will lit parking area. The staff and the other guess in this facility felt safe and comfortable to be around.

Good overall stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Could have used more Kleenex and hand soap in the room. Hand soap was empty and Kleenex almost empty.
Breakfast was good. One thing I did notice is that they could have cleaned the tables in between diners in the breakfast room more often and thoroughly. It was hard to find a clean table. Employees standing around talking & socializing when this could be done. Good overall stay. Just noticed these things.

Meh. Appears to be a new hotel in the middle of a cornfield. Rooms and hallways are already looking pretty beat up though. Carpet in hallway on third floor had ripples in it causing a trip hazard. Pool was ice cold. Breakfast was ok. Noticed the plumbing fixtures in the tub/shower were not fitted and water pressure and temp were terrible.Room was quiet and I slept great until a helicopter took off at 6:20am outside of my room. Front desk couldn't look up my rewards number so I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with IHG a week later to get my points. Had a king room and didn't feel it was worth $180 for the one night.

This was an older hotel but fairly well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable. The carpets in the hallways showed much wear and were lumped in areas and needed re- stretching. The breakfast area was large but there was not much seating with tables. Our King bed was really soft and maybe too soft for some.

Having read the material in the room, if you leave the do not disturb sign, they would not come in your room. If you wanted a refresh, don't hang it. I didn't hang mine at all because I wanted the coffee refilled. Even though I did not put the sign on the door. They never refreshed my room in the 4 days there. Breakfast was kind of late at 630a, and I did not give me much time as I had to be places at 7am.

Overall, the one night stay was great. Neither of two keys worked the first time at the room. Had to return to the desk from the third floor. Many choices for breakfast. The biscuits were very hard. Nice bed, pillows, bathroom, and shower.I would stay there again.
