This facility is an overpriced joke, and I cannot stress enough how poorly it is run. Communication is practically non-existent, and your family member will be treated as nothing more than a dollar sign. Miscommunications are frequent and occur daily, with issues rarely addressed properly or in a timely manner. Staff members clearly show biases, and the lack of accountability is appalling.
Mold is painted over instead of properly treated, which is just one example of the corners they cut when it comes to the safety and well-being of residents. For a Christian organization, they fail to uphold even the most basic Christian values.
It’s no surprise that this particular retirement home has hundreds of lawsuits against it. Do your research before considering this facility for your loved ones—they deserve far better. The entire operation is barely functioning, and the management will outright lie to cover up their incompetence. The lack of professionalism and disregard for both employees and residents is unacceptable. Proceed with extreme caution.

This place is not an understanding organization. It claims to be religious and caring. If you’re fake it will be great for you. If you have a personality it will be suppressive.

We had family members in rehab and long term care and couldn’t have asked for more competent and caring staff.

Went to a doctor's appointment today and one of your transportation vans was parked in the handicap spot I needed because I am on a walker and the female driver was very rude to my wife and refused to move.

The best thing I ever did was leave Bethany, by far one of the worst places to send your love ones, I've witnessed so much neglect and abuse. The female aids are horrible attitude for no reason I've seen people do narcotics in bathrooms. Smoke vape pens in the cubbies including nurses management is horrible. The scheduler is horrible. Memory care manager is horrible. The place is money driven with very little pay.

Don’t send your loved ones here if you care about them. It may seem fine on the outside but you have no clue what goes on behind closed doors. I hope and pray the ones who are here and can’t defend themselves gets out. Take care of your families yourself or find the highest quality facility.

Breanna the aid has a very bad attitude. Asked about a lady getting a shower who hasn’t had one in 2 weeks, was told she could get one after lunch and she would be the aid to do it. Even had another aid come in asking if she was already in here. I went to go ask when she would be getting her shower and she said it would be another 30-40 minutes as she’s just sitting on her phone. As I got back to the room all I heard was her bad mouthing and having an attitude saying how she didn’t want to do it. So we took it upon ourselves. I had to go ask where towels were and instead of going to get them I was just told the direction of the linen door. I am not personnel, but they might as well of hired me today.

Very professional, genuine, and kind people working and living in this facility.

They are very racist and bias. They have a clique of employees that stick together to get the African Americans out. They are short staffed and choose to pick on the ones with darker skin. Please don’t take your African American family memebers here . Highly don’t recommend

I am SO TIRED of this place treating agency like they're children. We should not have to endure that. The work load is also EXTREMELY heavy. And nobody should have to get denied care because we can't get to them. Then if we don't, we get the whole "you have to stay over" treatment. It's not fair. This place is horrible.

My mother was in Bethany Village REHAB in Summer 2021. In short - I would NOT EVER recommend Bethany Village for Rehab.Especially if you want actual Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Our entire purpose of placing my mother in Rehab at Bethany, after her fall and treatment at MVH, was for REHAB. Actual Therapy. We do NOT believe that she ever received her full Occupational and Physical Therapy on even one single day. I would even be in her room and she would be in / out in 20 minutes. OR both therapists would come at the same time - because I NEVER saw a posted plan or schedule for her PT. I even called the Head of PT many times. Never received a returned call. The schedule on the wall is BLANK. They insist that you notify them in advance of your patient's medical appointments. WE DID, telling them and posting it on the board AND when I went to pick her up - BOTH therapists show up at that same moment to do her therapy. HELLO. That's why you need to post your schedule of treatment. I don't think management has ANY idea what their people are doing. NO accountability.NOW I know why the Social Worker at MVH rolled her eyes when I asked her about Bethany for Rehab... and said "many people pick it".. End of story - We checked her out EARLY and arranged for IN HOME THERAPY through MVH! WHICH WAS AWESOME.If you really want your patient to get Rehab'd and get back to their life - I would NOT recommend Bethany Village Rehab. Instead - go with the MVH program of in-home therapy. The therapists there were BETTER and spent MUCH more time with my mother than she ever got at Bethany. Also - the room at Bethany was WELL WORN. I feel like they are all about just keeping you there forever. Never again.

Absolutely terrible. There are way too many residents per staff to where there isn’t enough staff to provide quality care to people’s families.
