had a really horrible experience with Steve. he was so rude to us and was so rude we had to leave. tried calling the manager twice with no answer or reply. it's an old school dealership mentality. Do not go here!

Young females beware! They will 100% try to take advantage of you by charging for unnecessary services, refuse warranties, etc. I waited for 5 hours just to be told my A/C repair would cost thousands of dollars and that my warranty was refused, as it was "terminated at some point." I was then told they'd be able to fix the A/C for a few hundred which was "what they'd recommend." Knowing this was all complete trickery, I said I would take my car elsewhere. Then the guy comes in and says "it's my lucky day and that the guys went ahead and put the clip in to fix my A/C anyway." THEY WERE TRYING TO GET ME TO PAY FOR IT OUT OF POCKET. I am beyond furious. I won't be going back.

I like the dealership unfortunately not impressed with this experience. I was there to check on a couple of things including the order. Since I ordered 18 days earlier as a gift and it hadn't shipped I thought I would save on the free (not free) shipping charges. I got an an email saying it shipped. Great, well not true, actually a label was created. Shipped on 1-3-2023 order was 12-12- 2022. As I write this on 1-4-2023 still waiting for the order. Yep. Next time I will drive to the dealership, order, and wait.

Full disclosure, I drive a Honda, but when I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and a trailer hitch installed before my family vacation the team hit it out of the park. They even "rented me" a cargo carrier (it was free as long as I put a travel sticker on it, cool idea!)!!! I will be back. Bryon, Melissa and the other advisors were great. The techs communicated with me, and met my timeline as well! Regardless of what kind of vehicle you drive, visit this dealership!

WE WAITED 8 WEEKS FOR THEM TO RESERVE THE WRONG VEHICLE. Subaru of Dayton was the second dealership we visited to purchase a new CrossTrek after having a bad experience at another dealership. We found the exact CrossTrek we wanted online, which my boyfriend desperately needed to begin working. We went in to reserve the car with the salesman, we agreed on certain features like AWD, automatic transmission, moonroof, our specific color, etc, and then began the long 8-week wait for our car. When the car finally arrived, we went to the dealership, signed all the paperwork, and then we went and looked at the car. It was a STICK SHIFT (manual transmission) though we were specifically promised an automatic, and no moonroof like we discussed. It was almost impossible to verify the specifications we made when we first reserved the vehicle, because the paperwork they gave us had NO details about the vehicle, only monthly payments. The dealer then tried to make us feel bad by saying that if he didn't make this sale, he would not get his monthly bonus, and tried to sell us a car we did not want. Now, my boyfriend has no way to get to work and we have to scramble to get him another car, no thanks to Subaru of Dayton!

First time using Subaru of Dayton. Won't be my last! The prices were very reasonable and the shipping very fast. Communication emails with order submission and status were received. Great transaction.

I actually bought a brand new 2011 Subaru Impreza from this dealership 10yrs ago. Picked up a car from the used car lot and a different sales person. The staff here seems nice. I don't really know them bc of COVID and we have very little interaction. I'd like to say that the 1st year of oil changes were included with purchase is a good thing but recently after getting the oil changed, I leaned down and took a look at the bottom of my car and the splash guard is now gone? I'm rather OCD and would have noticed that before? I walk back in and ask, the service tech for help. They wandered to the service area and came back stating the person who changed my oil/filter said it wasn't there? Hrmmm. How do I prove otherwise? It's not like I took a picture of it beforehand. I totally get how annoying that cover can be to remove for oil changes but for Pete's sake, put it back on... The part from Honda was $129, that didn't include the bolts and clips to install it. I won't go back. I'll take to Honda dealer from now on due to the lifetime drivetrain warranty, I have to show proof I had the oil changed on a regular basis. I won't step back on that lot unless my engine fails and I have to dump the car off there. I'm sure they won't cover the failure regardless so this may all be for nothing. Time will tell.

I would be very hesitant to buy from here. Bought a car that subsequently needed 4k in repairs the day after purchase. They will say and do whatever to get you in and not be fully honest throughout the process. Do your own carfax as they use auto check and I found glaring differences on the two reports. Don't recommend buying a used car from here at all.
