If you're looking for terrible service without a smile then look no further. If you are like me and love waiting on hold for 15 mins then this is the place for you. When they do actually have working phones they take the utmost care to meticulously misplace your prescriptions or misunderstand your instructions. It's this attention to detail that makes them the premier pharmacy in the area, that is if you ignore literally every other pharmacy within 20 miles. But don't take my word for it. Try Rite Aid in Wauseon today, you'll be sad you did!

Of the 3 meds that I order 1 was not filled. I was told that it must have been a computer problem. They said it would take 30 mins to fill. If I had 30 mins to wait I would not have ordered them over the phone. This has happened a number of times and it is finally time to switch to another pharmacy. I will only return if I need to buy hard liquor since they are the only local store license to sell.

if I could give them zero stars I would. my mother was trying to switch over some medication from Kroger pharmacy to rite aid. Some of the medication is very hard to pronounce and the woman was nasty and was asking my mom why she couldn't just pronounce the name.. unbelievable service. if you want to have that attitude go to McDonalds.

To start, the one star is only for the window clerk. The other pharmacy employees are uncaring of customers patronizing their pharmacy. I called U of M hospital to obtain a short supply of my thyroid medication. I had run out and although I had already ordered a 90 day supply on line through mail order, they could not get it to me timely before I ran out Monday. This is Thursday so 4 days without my medication and I am feeling it. U of M had called my order in this morning so I went to pick it up at 530PM. I initially waited 20 minutes behind 4 cars in the single line drive through. The cars did not move once in 20 minutes. I went inside to the pick up window where one female employee was taking care of a line of 10 people. I was 5th in line. There was a male pharmacist filling prescriptions, another male employee fiddling with bags of prescriptions hanging for pick-up but neither of the male employees lifted a finger to help the window clerk unless she could not address the customer's needs independently. I happened to be the one customer the male pharmacist came to the window to tell me he had not filled the script for me because insurance was not going to pay for it and I would need to pay for it without the benefit of my insurance because my 90 day supply had already been filled. OK, with the good rx he said it would be under $10. so I requested he fill the script. I was told to wait until my name was called over the intercom. I sat in the waiting area for about 5 minutes until my name was called went to the other window because now there were 5 more people in the pick-up line while the pharmacist kept his head down, not looking at any customers and the other male employee continued to rub the plastic bags of prescriptions. That drop off window had a sign stating to go to the pick up window. Oh my! So I waited in the line twice for a total of more than 40 minutes after waiting in the drive through line for 20 minutes. The rite aid in Wauseon, Ohio does not care enough for their customers to figure out that the male pharmacist should be empowered to assist customers and not just count pills and put them in bottles for future customers not yet there. The other male employee would rather spend his time rubbing plastic bags of medication. While I was there waiting, neither male employee helped a waiting customer even once. Never again.

I only go here because it's the only DRIVE-THRU pharmacy in WAUSEON and I am disabled. It is a shame they cant employ enough people to provide at the least, decent service. With as much as this company charges for perscriptions and everything else in the store YOU WOULD THINK that they could pay enough to keep the people they employ and employ better people...our lives are in your hands for God's sake and you have all that extra money you charge,it's no wonder your stocks are down!Close that drive - thru ONE more time on me or hang up on me ONE more time and I will take my 3000$ a month in scripts elsewhere and not one person in this store or any other affliate of rite-{wrong}aide cares!!!

I usually dont have a problem with Rite Aid. Till today. I went and checked out, my total was 32.16. everything on the machine said that amount. I walked out and looked at my receipt and the guy approved the Kidcents Contribution for $.84. Noe dont get me wrong, I probably would have said yes, bit the fact is, he approved it without even asking me. maybe I had just enough in my account to cover what I got and that little bit overdrew my account.
Managment, you need to talk to your workers. Cashier#23488845

This is thee WORST Rite Aid pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with! I’ve been a customer here for a year and am in the process of having my pharmacy switched. They NEVER answer the phones, I was on the phone trying to get through to the pharmacy today to make sure my prescriptions were actually ready because they never have them ready on the day/time. I live 20 min out of the way, so when I drop my daughter off at school and I’m already out I’d like to stop and pick them up so I don’t have to make another trip later since they are all taken in the A.M. I’ve been told “absolutely that’s no problem, we’ll make a little note so it doesn’t happen again” and I kid you not it never fails every single time I go to pick them up they always tell me they’re not ready even though I’ve asked them repeatedly if they could be done in the morning and they always say “sure that’s not a problem at all”, then they ask me to come back later, I got tired of making double trips so I now sit and wait while they fill them and then they want to have an attitude with me because I refuse to leave making an unnecessary trip back there when I’ve been asking them for over a year. And the last time I was in there to pick up my daughters eczema lotion I said our last name and she said “oh I know what your here for” then went on to name my prescriptions informing me that they were not ready, obviously because I’m not there to pick up them I was there to pick up for my daughter. I felt discriminated against. And absolutely hate dealing with this pharmacy, the almost all snobby employees (they have two very sweet girls employed there) other than that they are extremely rude to me when I pull up once a month and the feeling is very mutual.
