Rural kings are in my opinion just like walmart. If you've been in one you know what they are all like. Rude employees ruin the experience every time. Doesn't matter how good of a deal you find.

Nice store. It was well stocked and the workers were very helpful. I went in there to buy some trash bags and they had a good variety in them and I was able to get what I was looking for.

Ok what’s going on with the cashiers at Raul king . I don’t go there often but every time without exception there’s some issue at the register, no exception!! The cashier has to call the manager for every decision it seems like . I spend more time in line than I do shopping there . Compared to Walmart, Kroger’s etc you will have a long wait time . Not sure if the cashiers need more training or the managers need to give them more authority to make decisions. There’s no way I’m the only one who has noticed this at the Waverly Rual king .

Poor service. Cashier asked the person before me if they needed help getting large purchase to car, then when I asked for help getting large potting soil into my car, she said they didn't have anyone to do that. She was not helpful at all

I tend to avoid RK as much as possible now. It feels that they are more interested in trying to sell you on a credit card than they are the goods in the store. Literally only go here if I forget to grab feed elsewhere - it's a shame because I really used to enjoy it.

I have bought 10 chicken from Rual King one time and within a matter of a day all the chickens passed away. I also bought a bunny from them a couple months later and unfortunately my bunny is dying the store worker there said the bunny came from the Amish which was a total lie the animals are not being taking care of most of them just end up dead in the cages with the other sick animals and the workers will just walk past them without doing anything. None of the animals will get the vet care and we wanted a refund back on the chickens but instead they just told me you can pick out 10 more chickens as replacements they didn't seem to care or understand why the chickens died in the first place and they were accusing us about the chicken's death saying well was the heat too high etc... We have spend over 300 dollars for both the chicken's and the bunny however they don't care all they care about is the money. They even have medication like vaccines they can give to the animals there to prevent them from getting sick but they refuse to do anything to keep the animals from getting sick and dying in there store I don't understand how the police hasn't gotten involved for animal abuse and neglect letting an innocent animal die in their hands yet all they seem to care about is the money that walk through their doors every single day. Don't ever buy an animal there because it will just end up dead within a day or a couple days at your home and they won't end up refunding you on the dead animal even if you show them proof of the dead animal, they won't do anything except replace the animal with another sick animal that is in their care.... Rual King needs to be held responsible for their actions STOP SELLING SICK ANIMALS TO PEOPLE YOU ARE ALL A BUNCH OF ANIMAL ABUSERS.
