I drive half an hour to go here and it's well worth it. $5 for a range with pistol and rifle stations from 10-100 yards all for $5. The RSOs are pretty reasonable, people are cognizant to when others are waiting for a ceasefire, and everyone is responsible and respectful.

I drive 45mins for this range. It's great. Tons of lanes, high quality shooting tables, target stands always ready to go, easy target placement, tape, oh and it only costs 5 bucks.

This place has a free archery range, as well as one gun (around 5, 7 and 15 yds) range, one gun/rifle (up to 25 yds) range and one rifle (up to 100 yds) range for a small fee. All three ranges mentioned above have around 7-8 stalls each, and the fee is paid through a web site (they have a QR code at the window in case you didn't buy pay in advance). You have to watch a security video and you are good to go. It is an outdoor range with a wooden roof, so you can shoot in the rain but you will get wet while setting up your paper target. Things to note: No steel targets allowed, it is a self-serve range (shooters themselves call for "cease fire" and "range hot") and must clean after themselves.

All my experiences at Spring Valley have been really good and memorable, the range is nice and always clean and well kept, the staff is very friendly, if you see a young lady name Taylor give her a fist bump cause she is one of the nicest, kind hearted range workers I have ever met and shes very helpful so if you have any questions with fire arms or the range rules don't be afraid to ask her, also give a shout out to Tyler, Noah and the rest of the guys that work at the valley! Thanks for allowing me to shoot at the range! Love you all!!

New to handling firearms. Started out with classes at a local range and a membership where I could try out different guns. That was helpful. When I decided on one for self defense I started going to this range. I feel comfortable going with other ladies who are beginners also. Employees and other range users are helpful and friendly. By going to this range regularly my confidence is improving. I’ve read some reviews and I would suggest if you see someone who is not on point with the rules, they may be new. Just remind them. There is a lot to learn.

The best ODNR range that I've been to in Ohio. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They are more than willing to offer tips or help out if wanted. They have several ranges. One pistol only range with 5-, 10-, and 15-yard target distances. Another range with 25-yard targets allows pistols and pistol style ARs. A separate range for rifles that had 25- and 50-yard targets. The final range has 25-, 50-,75-, and 100-yard targets. You will need a range pass that you can purchase online. It is $5 for a day pass or $25 for a full year pass. Also, I'll be that weird guy that asks if you keep your brass, and if you don't, I'll sweep it up and take it off your hands for you.

Pros:- Nice location- Clean facility- Good range variety- Outstanding shotgun range- Usually friendly staffCons:- Anything faster than one shot every 5 seconds is considered rapid fire (and they *will* yell at you). If you are looking to train at a semi-realistic fire rate, find another range.- Occasional rude staff/RSOs- Tracking round count (I know they use this data for something productive, but its very frustrating to try and have a fun day of shooting and then realize you were supposed to be counting your shots)Overall, a moderately nice shooting spot for a decent price. Definitely more fudd-flavored than some may like, but its a good accessible facility for learning the basics, zeroing sights, or honing accuracy.

The shooting range itself is great and most the employees that work there are great but Taylor wasn’t the best and I wouldn’t recommend being there while she’s working. I know know to ask for another employee to be on the end we chose the pick. She’s not the best person to be working at a place with people

I took my girlfriend and mom here today. Both are new to shooting and the RSO wearing a Vietnam vet hat took very good care of us and showed them the ropes. Very happy

You basically shoot anything here. Annual fee is super cheap. Only negative is they don't sell anything (ammo, targets, etc.).

My favorite range by far. Lots of options for different distances and different firearms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone there has been respectful and safe when I've been. Definitely nice to be outside so that's always a plus.

Price is so good that it is not worth going anywhere else. I don't understand the negative reviews. Has all the basics, is clean, and safe.

Great facility with great employees.Safety was good, at no point did I feel I was unsafe, or that anyone else was for that matter. Probably one of the best outdoor ranges I've been to. The shooting benches are under a roof, and the whole place seemed to be maintained very well....they should sell paper targets though ?
