Great selection of vintage door hardware. Choosing hardware for a vintage home can be complicated, but the very knowledgeable person who's in charge of the hardware department makes it easy and patiently answers questions. Lots of other great items in the store too (don't miss the Mason Jar Repurposing Section).

This was a unique place for unique older furniture reminded me of the days of country living, love my table made from a spoke wheel and chairs to fit its style. Everyone was sweet, and friendly to accommodate us. Be back soon.

I absolutely loved this place! If you're in need of vintage/ antique doors and any hardware for it, this is your place. Rim locks. Mortise locks. Bennington knobs. Crystal knobs. I just loved it. Wish i had found it 5 years sooner, lol.

Phenomenal customer service. Sent my mortise lock to be rebuilt by the experts at Village Salvage. They worked with me every step of the way and went above and beyond to find additional components associated with the lock to ensure I had a complete, fully functioning door. I don't expect the lock to fail anytime soon but I'd send it to them any day.

I ordered a hard to find replacement front door double lock for my 100+ year old house. Due to my own mistake I received a lock with one key instead of two. When I called about it the folks at Village Salvage were very friendly and super helpful. I shipped the lock back to them, they cut me a new key, and shipped it back.I could not be happier with the service. I will certainly be ordering more from Village Salvage as I restore and repair my house.Highly recommend.Josh LeiteMillbury, Massachusetts.

We love this place! Anytime we are near Waynesville we stop in to see what is new on the shelves. Very friendly staff! We'll be back!

Mix of salvage and new "rustic" furniture. Went in intending to look for a replacement knob for a secretary desk and ended up leaving with this AMAZING lamp. Looks great in my dining room!

I have been in the store many times over the years and I went in today to look at a couple of salvage doors they had. Keep in mind that only half of this store is salvage, the rest is made to look salvage.I had set my phone and my keychain, which has 2 keys on it and a key fob. The lady working walks over and asks if I need any help and then then immediately says oh can you move your phone and keys off of the table. And I said oh, I'm sorry I didn't see any signs and I don't see anywhere else to put them while I'm looking. Her snarky remark back is oh yes, we have signs all over, (clearly they missed this table).I am an incredibly respectful shopper, my keychain with 2 keys and a key fob and my phone are not damaging the table. So I said, now you're being rude, no problem, I'll find this $295 door somewhere else.I think as a retail worker you need to balance your attitude and how you talk to people and the fact that they might be spending a lot of money in your store. I need way more than that door, but I won't be buying it there. After that, I won't even go back in there. It was petty and ridiculous.

Lots of really cool stuff in here that is way out of my budget. I go here mostly because I have champagne taste and there's some pretty unique design stuff to inspire me. They also have a booth at Antiques Village in Centerville if you want to see some of their stuff, but Waynesville is too far away.
