Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and veternarian. First puppy visit and Ericka the technician was very friendly and thorough with all the knowledge. Dr Bonner was very good and nice and could tell she really cared about your dog. Explained all that was needed and why. Answered all our questions too. Feel very comfortable about bringing our new dog here.Dee and Denny

Our various pets are so grateful that we found West Chester Veterinary Center for their care. Recently one of our cats, a feral yellow/orange/white female became ill. Sadly, we learned her illness would take her life. Dr. Karla Blackmore and the entire staff helped us through this terrible time with great tenderness and care. They truly understood our distress. Tenderly, Dr. Blackmore explained Timi's situation and prognosis. They're thorough, considerate and have the pets welfare top of mind. It's clear that they love animals.

We got a new puppy and made our first visit to West Chester Vet. The office was very easy to work with and got us scheduled right away.Check in was easy as you text from the car. This avoids sick or aggressive animals and adds to the positive experience. The place is clean and every one friendly. The vet was informative and allowed questions. Very nice and caring for our dog.Appreciate the care for Riley. Thank you and be back soon.Stan

Never go here. I was charged for a service without being told, and when I complained about it, the employee called my wife a liar. Then called me and my family another name for female dog. She also came out into the parking lot and smacked me repeatedly, and kicked my car 3 times. Huh, but apparently, their camera doesn't work outside when the video is subpoenaed. So if Keendra is still still working there. You're taking your animal to a clinic with an assailant working the front desk. Stay far away from these greedy hood rats.

Use to be a great Veterinary Center but has went down hill in the last year I would not recommend this place to anyone Very unprofessional and rude to their Customers. This place is more worried about making money off of your pet than being concerned of the conditions that you brought your pet in for trying to up sell you on other things that is not even the reason for your visit. I received a letter in the mail that I was fired as a customer after I already told them that I wanted the medical records for my animal because I would not be back to this so called Veterinary Center after the way that my wife and I as well as my dog was treated. They are alot of lack of communication that goes on there which is concerning because you don't know how they are treating your beloved pet

Please pick a different vet. They make you sit in your car with your stressed out pet for your appointment and wait 20 min to come get your pet as if it's still Covid. Disguised as convenient car-side service that actually makes the entire appointment 100x more stressful for pet owner and pet. Also wanted to mention their weird recess hour of a lunch where they shut down and refuse to do anything for an hour for "lunch". Don't know anyone else that gets an hour lunch break, god forbid an emergency ever happens between the hours of 1-2 pm. Lazy. Don't care for animals or people, just themselves. Please please pick any other vet, every single experience here has sucked for years and has finally led me to write this review.

When my 2-year-old dog ate a packet of rat poison on a Saturday afternoon, I immediately rushed to Google to find a veterinarian that was open. I was fortunate enough to discover West Chester Veterinary Center and called them. I was told to rush in, skip the front desk, and get my dog straight to the vet. When I arrived, Tracey at the front desk knew my situation and immediately got my dog into the hands of the experts. I’m thrilled to report that my dog’s treatment regimen was spot-on and that she suffered no ill effects whatsoever. The cost of her care was quite reasonable and I can report that I have found a new Veterinary Center for all our future needs!

Service isn’t bad, and the people there are very kind to my dog, but is so extremely overpriced. Cost almost $600 for spayed appointment, even with the removal of a few other items. Had I not requested them to be not added, bill would have been about $900-$1000. Was told PetLand was going to pay for everything except the anesthesia, but was lied to. I do not recommend going to this place at at all, and had I known what I know now I wouldn’t have even bothered with this place. Personally wished I went to Friendtown clinic. This place is a money eater and only cares about making more money. There are items that they required for the surgery that I could have bought for a cheaper price and more quantity off of Temu. This place is a joke. Would not recommend.

Been bringing our animals here for years and I have to say this is a very clean Vet and the doctors act like they care. However, over the years it's more about let me sell you this and that and try this med and that med and less about real care or concern for the pet. It has become 100%, all about money. Which by the way, I don't mind spending if I felt the care of the animal was the concern and not them just selling something. On the boarding, I have to say they have one of the stupidest policy of anywhere. They require you to make an appointment (not on the same day as boarding date). Have the animal get shots and only then make a boarding appointment. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. No issue with having shots current and paying for the same but why should I have to drive an hour to get shots and then drive back another day to board. Charge me in advance, but requiring me driving twice again is stupid.Of course West Chester Vet, doesn't care about your pet. It's all about the money anymore. Sad, but true.Looking for a new Vet, does anyone have any suggestions?

I took my dog here to get the $75 flu vaccine. After that they told me they didn’t have the second round of the shot and if it expires I’ll have to restart both rounds. Now they’re saying all of the customers have to REPAY the $75 shot we already paid for but luckily they’ll cOvEr ThE oFfIcE vIsIt. Which is cheaper than this shot by the way. So when they want to make that right I’ll update my review because that is not acceptable. The vet visit and the first round have already been paid for so you can’t even call it “free” for us to come back in to get it lol.

DO NOT COME HERE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Zero care at all for the wellbeing of your pets. I brought my cat in for a skin condition on her chin, and the first appointment seemed to go alright. We made a plan of care, but the medication they wanted to prescribe was on backorder. I told them I'd wait for it to be restocked. Fast forward to the day I go to pick up the medication. They tell me those wipes are no longer being manufactured, but that they had a substitute. They brought out a spray, but when I read the bottle, it said for use on dogs only. I asked about it, the tech assured me it was fine, so I asked why it said it was only for dogs if it is also for cats. She went to ask the vet, and came out with a different medication. Come to find out via my own research, the spray they gave me originally can be toxic to cats. So had I trusted this vet to do their job correctly instead of checking the label myself, my cat could have been poisoned. After taking back the spray, the tech gave me some medicated wipes to use but never gave me the instructions on how to use them. I've been using the wipes and the condition just keeps getting worse. I've been trying to get clarification for 3 days now, calling multiple times. Even though every time I called, they said they would have the vet call me, I still couldn't get ahold someone that knows what's going on. Meanwhile my cat is suffering, walking in circles around my house yowling in pain because this heartless excuse of a practice can't make a simple phone call. I had to drive over there to get some answers after being told repeatedly for days that I would receive a phone call. This place is falling apart at the seams. None of the employees communicate with one another, no one ever knows what's going on, they give you medication that can poison your pet, they fail to give proper instructions on treatments, then when you try and follow up for clarification they ignore you. The vet as a person seems alright, but the staff that are there to support them are failing them in every way possible. Please please please don't bring your pets here.
