I’ll never forget the first time I came to our Roush hardware here in Westerville and took my allowance to buy a pocket knife at a sidewalk sale that they were holding. It was one of my proudest moments as a kid. But today after 50 years in this city it was a whole different story. When walking in the store today, one of the associates at the cashiers area looked up from her phone to greet me as I walked back to the service counter. Ok. I made eye contact with two men back there who had nothing to say to me for at least a minute. One of the associate finally says to me, and now, how can I help you and I had inquired about Parts for my lawnmower. He looked at his partner and his partner said check out aisle 12, so I went to aisle 12 and the guy that made the comment, he ended up coming by me, did not offer me anything whatsoever and after I spent 10 minutes trying to find a part I was looking for. Severely disappointed and frustrated and as I walked to the exit, where I watch both cashiers never look up from their phones. Roush Hardware you’ve become a disappointment to me and the citizens of Westerville and I will never come here again and be sure to tell all of my friends in town about your incompetent staff. Beyond disappointed with how you have fail to meet the needs of our community.

Legitimately I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I have yet to meet someone here who isn't just the nicest, most helpful type of person. Definitely the place to go if you need key copies, air filters, or any sort of hardware you might go to a bigger department store for.

Roush hardware is exactly what you want when going to a local hardware store. They have the odds and ends you need to get the job done and a friendly staff that will help you find everything. Do I even need to mention the free buttered popcorn at the door? I drive by two big box hardware stores to get to Roush because I want to support a great local business.
