I had a very good personal experience with them, I stopped for my grandson to use the restroom, and I brought him some snacks, later I found out later I forgot my card there, I called them and the awesome Miss DIDi helped me retrieve it, saved me a big hassle.

I’m from out of town stopped to get gas. Pumps not working correctly. Went to two different pumps and still didn’t fill the tank. Went inside to let the cashier know the pumps were not working properly. All I got was a shrug of the shoulder. Poor customer service.

This is your typical Duchess Shoppe, carrying everything from fuel, to Lotto, to water and energy drinks. The major drawback of this location is that it cannot be easily accessed if heading south on State Street due to the medians in the road. A left turn at a light, followed by a U-Turn is required. In an area that is not flush with convenient stores, this makes the location, well, not very convenient during rush hour traffic. Coupled with the new traffic patterns on this section of State Street you could find yourself taking longer to get to a pump than it takes you to fill up and grab some beef jerky and a scratch off ticket. You can follow the road behind the Monroe in order to get southbound on State, again waiting at a congested light. The inside of the store is brightly lit and always well stocked. The outside area also includes an air compressor, which is free if you have a Duchess loyalty card.
