I will start by saying I shop at this Goodwill A LOT. I have 3 stars instead of one because of the other workers, NOT this manager.
On July 23rd at 6:48 pm I purchased a wooden kitchen island on wheels. I did not have room in my car at that time. The young lady asked me when I could pick it up and I told her Friday morning on the 25th. The manager, older middle aged gentleman, was standing right there because he had to get the cashier singles because she was out.
I show up Friday morning at about 10:45 to pick up my purchase only to find out it wasn’t there. They had sold it to someone else. I asked to speak to the manager who was completely apathetic and incompetent. He tried to give me a gift card and I told him I wanted cash since the mistake was theirs. He told the cashier to just give me cash to “get her out of here.” If I owned this business this man would be fired. He lacks common sense, work ethic, and people skills.
The system for furniture pick up is flawed, yet he was fine with, “that’s just the way it is. Mistakes happen.” However, another employee said this stuff happens all the time. This whole experience was extremely disappointing and unnecessary. I wish I would have gotten the managers name. He is definitely NOT a problem solver nor a good manager. He’s not even a mediocre manager.

This may be the best goodwill that I’ve been to. Good name brand clothes, not overpriced, good selection of houseware items. Very clean store!

Nicely organized and clean store! The place smells amazing (smart move using room deodorizer given all the used shoes ; ) and the staff are helpful and friendly. Great place to bargain hunt!
