Old Dutchman Bait & Tackle is a long-standing, family owned store that has been around for 60 years. It is the only place to go when fishing the local area like Hoover Reservoir. Although not a very large space, it is packed full of everything you could possibly imagine for a fun day out on the banks or on a boat. They have all of what you need for fishing, with an enormous and outstanding selection of gear, tackle, and bait. They also have merchandise and snacks for purchase. The service is very friendly and great, providing outstanding care. Many are happy to support this owner operator business and pay a little extra rather than spend money at a large corporation. The shop is very kid friendly. It is a great place highly recommended for fishing supplies.
