do to circumstance of life my account was overdrawn $27 for more than 6 days. after bringing it positive my card was declined at the register. I found out the bank grounded me from using my card for 30 days...wth am I a 5yr old.

we had trouble getting a call back yesterday from someone about our issue but they quickly got a hold of us today and resolved our issue. Facebook is messing up today so it wouldn't let me edit my review so I deleted it and am making this one with screenshots of my previous post for context.

Avoid auto loans through Westfield bank. They don't take online or by phone payments. You mail your payment to a po box. Very outdated banking.

So this bank sent out personal information including FULL Social Security numbers in unencrypted emails. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You jeopardized all of our id's and credit because an employee did not know the difference between encrypted email and non? Epic Fail Westfield! Time to find a new bank who understands security. Anyone with a bank account here - beware. This bank has no clue how to keep you safe. Wow.

Let me get this straight. We have made payments early every month and receive a letter EVERY month that the payment is late and threatens my credit rating. Seriously???? I called customer service to have the reason explained and I was told that it is computer generated and there is nothing that can be done. They were then asked to STOP sending the letters to me. Guess what. It cannot be done. If they were not going to penalize me so heavily I would just pay the loan off.

Had an auto loan through Westfield from 2010 - 2016 and gave a fair rate and were easy to work with. Never had any issues when I asked for things like a changed payment date or whatnot. Was happy until after the last payment I called for the title and they informed me I had a $40 late fee on a late payment from 14 months earlier. First they had never notified me of it previously. Second they were auto-deducting from my checking account from day one so I am unclear as to how I am charged a late fee if they did not withdraw the money I authorized them to on time. A sheisty way to end what I thought was a good six year relationship. Enjoy that late fee because it cost you a customer for life!
