The staff here is so poor in scheduling and accommodating. Once I arrived earlier than my scheduled time and was rudely told my appointment was earlier in the day when I had email and text receipts saying this was untrue, the assistant was not accommodating. Another time I made an appointment specifically for dental cleaning and was told on arrival that was not made. I wasted over an hour driving back and forth for nothing, bc the staff didn’t complete the job.
I’ve had other less than kind experiences at this facility and unkind vets.

I got the cat plan here for my newly adopted senior cat. Helps me do everything I need for this old kitty without breaking the bank too much. Love they have this for cats and dogs !

I’m Pretty new when it comes to being a pet owner… I’ve had my pup for about 6 months , he’s going on 9 months old now… I’ve been taking my pup to this hospital for about 4 months at this point and since before we even went in I started a $75 a month wellness plan…Our first visit rolls around and they don’t even weigh him at all even though I specifically asked them too. I’m told “oh he has too much energy we’ll get him next time”…no offense that’s literally your job like figure it out…. Now That said wellness plan was supposed to cover everything from what I was told over the phone… I even remember asking specifically “God Forbid my dog gets hit by a car, is he covered for an emergency?” Guy says “yes everything is covered!”…. Well guess what?.. my dog got hit by a car and I took him in for an emergency visit… we get there right away a young lady walks out and holds the door open for me as I’m carrying my pup in. The lady says as I’m walking in “we’ll switch when we get in and I’ll take him back”… then anxiously waiting about 10 minutes for her return which felt like forever I’m then told “we normally don’t do emergency visits”.. what is the hospital for then?… why is it called a hospital and not a clinic?…I then dish out $1200+ for an X-Ray, Cast, and some medication after the visit which id honestly pay whatever I had too and they obviously know that.. but I was shown about an hour from when we got there a picture of the X-Ray from the doctors phone… I’m then told my pup suffered from some minor scraping on the his hind legs and a fractured front leg…. Anxiously waiting about another hour for them to put the cast on and let the dog rest without me even getting to see him… anytime I asked a question I’d get the “one minute let me go ask and I’ll be right back” I’d wait 5-10 minutes for either the receptionist or the doctor to come back with an answer… I get the standard precautions and the standard procedures but I was on edge the entire time and it honestly feels like there doing sketchy stuff… I didn’t even get to see my dog at all during any visit..I decided to end the wellness plan which you have to call corporate and sit on the phone for an hour so you can do that… I will not be returning to this place which sucks because it’s about 5 minutes from my home but it’s just all sorts of what each visit…the people are friendly that’s why they got a 2 star… otherwise I’d slap em with a one….

We have been coming to Banfield for 5 years. My dog Pete has always been well taken care of. Appointment times are prompt, and the staff is friendly. Dr Fornara has treated Pete most often, and is truly a wonderful and caring doctor! Pete isn't frightened at his visits, because he trusts the people who see him. Very happy with the service we have had!

One of the best animal hospitals you can find in Cleveland. I needed a health certificate for my dog to travel overseas and called many places, but this was the only animal hospital that knew how to handle it properly. Dr. Fornara was amazing, and I regret not discovering him sooner. If I had known about him when I first got my dog, he would have been my go-to vet without question. Every staff member was incredibly kind, and it's evident how much they care about their animal patients. They are extremely professional with very prompt follow-ups on how things are progressing. Dr. Fornara is, without a doubt, the best vet you can find in the Cleveland area. Thank you again for your time and professionalism. I would love to bring my pet here again.

I was on the wellness plan where I was paying $45 a month for a few years then I got the “free dental cleaning” for my dog and they found she needed 2 extractions which cost me $650 out-of-pocket. For her wellness visit and exam I don’t like the way I’m not allowed in the room with her while they’re doing the exam so I get a long list of services that were rendered but I didn’t witness any of them so it feels suspicious, Like I didn’t get my money’s worth —And my dog may or may not have gotten the services promised. So I ended the wellness plan contract and enjoy more expensive but more personalized services at Northview Animal Clinic in North Ridgeville.

Love Banfield because they love my Goldendoodle and my kitty. Staff is wonderful, caring and patient. Also like the programs they offer...no surprises and keeps me on budget.
