I have been going to this salon for over 20 years and always had a good experience. Shelly is amazing. She is very professional, always willing to listen and offer new ideas as well. I have since moved out of state but continue to come back to CcSalon whenever I can. I haven’t found anyone that can do a better job on my hair.

They charged me WAY more than what I expected from their website to trim my 12-year-old's straight hair. Their website says that for ages 12 and under it's $25 for a haircut and all haircuts come with shampoo and blow-dry finish. She just got a trim- no layers or face-framing pieces or anything. Just a simple trim for a 12-year-old should not cost $55 (especially not when you're told it'll cost $25).

After many tries of haircuts and coloring in salons in Boston I finally have a great haircut and color. Shelly Mongonello is incredibly talented. She studied my hair and my features and changed my look. She used a dry haircut technique and followed up with recommendations for products. I highly recommend her for a successful trip to a salon.

UPDATE: Thank you Shelly & CC family! It was a great experience & turned out for the best. I will be going back for my next appt. 5 stars for sure!!
Waited over 2 weeks for my appt., just to be canceled the day of my appt to be told there was a problem with scheduling, could I come next week.
She did offer to cancel the customer that was double booked, however, I declined.
Very disappointed ☹️

I have been a client and a CC follower for over 26 years. In fact when I moved back east, I would always compare Salon's to CC and they just didn't measure up. CC Salon always stays on top of the latest trends and Best Practices in Color, Style, Mani's , Pedi's, Products, and so much more . Shelly is not only the leader and owner but she inspires her team to help her create the awesome and inviting ambiance. Anytime I can, I come back to have the CC Salon and Spa experience!! Recently I was very unhappy with my east coast hair salon experience so I went back to see Shelly and she fixed my color, hair and got it healthy and back on track again !! Nobody does it better⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Emily worked wonders on my hair and what was anticipated to be just a tone required way more work. She did it happily and charged me BEYOND fairly. She and everyone in the studio was so warm and amenable I truly couldn’t have had a better hair experience. THANK YOU EMILY!!!

I love CC Salon! It is a fun and beautiful place. The stylists treat each other like family and every client that walks out of there looks like a million bucks! Janna is my stylist and I've never loved my hair so much. Go check it out and see for yourself. C & C is very professional and you enjoy every minute while you're there.

Updated: received messages and a telephone call from the owner, as well as messages from the stylist yesterday after I called to leave message for owner/manager. I did receive a refund, which helps remove some of the bitter taste of my experience. And, I clearly said I'd wanted a salon experience as a client! I know dropping the ball was not done purposefully, which is why my tip remains with her. I appreciate her as a stylist & great conversations. I miss being a stylist/colorist and we folded in effortlessly. I should have spoken up, but knew her schedule was busy and when I I trusted the process as we are all artists an no one way is "correct". When I was allowed to get up, signaling my appointment had concluded, the moment of doing right was lost and awkwardness ensued. I truly was upset and tried to let it go. Having a refund helps, but does not erase my feelings of great disappointment in walking out of a salon with frizzy, big hair. I added a star for the owner's time and refund. I do not harbor resentment. Not happy. I have natural curly/wavy hair and was recommended to Jenna. I was horrified that she combed out my natural hair (hello, frizz, big hair) dry cut me with clippers, continued to comb my hair (takes all curl definition out and just makes it big, frizzy). I trusted the process, but I was wrong! She failed to give a shampoo/conditioner and "reset" my curls/waves! (I called in as new client told $65 included shampoo, cut style). I only received dry cut, she only added more hair oil (did nothing) to my now big frizzed, undefined curls combed out hair. My experience was sub par and I was disappointed as I wanted the full salon experience. I paid full price and left with hair that 1) should have been washed, conditioned (or at minimum wet at bowl with quick condition), 2) product of choice added to my hair and, 3) either had diffuser dry OR sat under soft heat hooded dryer. GPS had me late 9 minutes by going to random location. I called to make sure it was still okay. Jenna was nice, accommodating and friendly, but she doesn't know how to handle natural curly/wavy hair. She also failed to ask how I like my hair in back (straight across, curved). I couldn't go out to do my errands and went straight home and put it up. My first time in salon as a new client in 2 decades. She knew I am a professional cosmetologist of 26 years and my self cut needed hands other than my own. We were both pleasantly surprised that I had all the angels and my self cut with layers was on point (hard to do self cut with salon quality). I am sure she has talent beyond my experience, and great conversationist, but this gal left with a frizz ball. Definitely not $65 worth. I also left with zero idea what other services they offered. Not sure if she's a booth renter or employee, but neither she nor receptionist told me of the other services the salon offered. Pushed by receptionist to book another cut. One was enough.

First time here and my experience with Emily was AMAZING! She's so chatty and nice and explained the entire process, asked about my hair routine to make sure I had the best outcome possible and was overall so kind. As for the hair, she KILLLLLLED it!!! I asked for low maintenance light brunette into dark blonde bayalage and she matched it perfectly!!! Confirmed the right tone, length, etc. for me. She was perfect and I will be back!
