Ive been coming here for years because these kids grow out of thier clothes wayyy too quickly. The staff is nice and its always clean and organized. Recommend it to everyone with little ones :)

I dont know what is up with this place but the staff is super unfriendly and rude :/ especially for being a store that sells kid's stuff! I had never sold before, and they acted very put out having to explain to me what to do. Maybe they need a class on customer service and how to talk to people. The variety of items for sale was nice, but I was not impressed by the staff.

I really enjoy shopping at this store. The employees are always welcoming and helpful in assisting me in finding appropriate clothing, toys and shoes for my grandkids. The items I find here are always in pristine condition and the price is right!

I came in on Monday morning and the store was not busy. An older woman was sorting clothes, and I politely said good morning and asked for a general estimate on how long the review process might take. I only asked because I had my 21-month-old with me and needed to plan my wait time.
Her attitude was unnecessary and unwelcoming. She made me feel uncomfortable the moment I asked a simple question. Instead of helping, she seemed more focused on gossiping with her coworker than assisting customers. I chose this location for convenience, but it was clearly a mistake.
I also want to point out something important for others: if you bring in brand-new clothing with clearance tags, they will scratch the price off and resell it at a higher price. Please be aware of this practice — it felt extremely sneaky and dishonest.
I grabbed my basket of clothing and left. I will not be returning to this location and will take my business to a different Once Upon a Child moving forward.

I went there a couple of months ago and bought a TON. There were some good bargains. I went last week to try to sell some clothes. I had never done it before and I had no idea what to do. I walk in and it was an older lady who was so incredibly rude. It wasn’t busy but I asked her how to do it and it was like I was wasting HER time. She wasn’t with a customer, she was folding a shirt. She acted like I was a nuisance. I took a bag of clothes and again, I didn’t know how this works, I asked how long it would be. I got an ugh, it’ll be an hour and a half and you need to be here by 5:30. I dropped the clothes off at 1 and an hour and a half went by and nothing. I got there at 5 and there was a younger lady who was so sweet. An entire bag would be 11.60. I asked why and the younger one didn’t know. The older one very rudely said some were stained and some were out of style. I don’t think leggings go out of style in a year. I thought it was going to be my new favorite clothes shop since everything is going up. Never again because of the rude staff member.

I am not from the Westlake area, and decided to stop and shop here after picking up medicine from the Cleveland cancer center. I have shopped only once before 7 years ago while pregnant with my second. Thought we would stop and shop and get a different environment then my local once upon a child and get some clothes for my daughter. There was 2 ladies at the counter, the younger lady who checked us out was very kind and polite. The other older lady that was working with her was very rude and snippy, all because I removed the hangers before checkout.( like I normally do, it makes it go faster, and never had a problem at my local store that is much bigger, they always thank me for doing it.) Told me the next time I shop to keep the hangers on that it helps them scan the tag easier, Then I watched this lady check someone else out, take the hanger off the clothing item before she scanned the tag. Nothing different than what I did. My cashier had no problems scanning the tags. I will Not be going back to this location.

Dont bother taking your stuff to sell unless you can get there more than an hour before close bc it's a waste of time. I even checked the website and nothing said that.... waste of time and there was still 40 mins to close

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I had to come online to read the reviews AFTER leaving this location because I had to be sure that I wasn’t over exaggerating this terrible experience. Clearly I should have read the reviews BEFORE going. I have never written a review before but this location is by far the WORST location I’ve ever been to. The women at this location are BEYOND rude and by the looks of these replies (from the business) to almost every negative comment below they obviously have no accountability. I was never greeted, I was expected to already know what to do at this location, meanwhile I just moved to Ohio from Arizona (which also has Once Upon a Child btw & I have always been treated with respect or BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE at the least) I have never been treated the way I was treated at this location. The women appear as they don’t want to be there, very snarky with the way they spoke to me every time I asked a question. Like I said I never leave reviews but I was only in the stores 15 minutes, if that & I just couldn’t believe their attitude!

I have been coming here since my son was born because you can’t beat the gently used clothes for kids. However, this location has the most unprofessional and rude staff. I expect better out of people that work in retail, but especially at a children’s store. Do better or find a different job that doesn’t work with the public.

My husband and I came here today for the first time as we are expecting our first child and we’re recommended this store by his mom. First impression immediately walking in the store was overwhelming filled to the brim with so many second hand child / baby items ( which is a good thing ). Right off the bat we noticed we didn’t get acknowledged or greeted by any employees but figured they may have been occupied . Shopping around we noticed some used items that we felt were priced incredibly high for being used as we looked up the same items online that could be found brand new for not much more than what they were selling , so I was unimpressed by that. But amongst the overpriced items we did find many fairly priced and even extremely good steals on some essentials we needed . So that was cool and made me want to come back . We go to check out and all of the employees just seemed to have been in a bad mood / had displeased looks on their faces and lack of appropriate customer service. The lady who rung us out was very short with us / snarky . My husband made a joke because the card reader beeped and she looked at him like he was ignorant and said with a major attitude “yeah it’s gonna do that no matter what you do it just does that “ , then immediately briskly went back to whatever she was doing prior with no “have a good day” or further acknowledgment , she made us feel extremely unwelcomed with that attitude. I understand people have bad days so hopefully it was just a bad day for the team and next time we come in we will feel like the place is 5 star worthy , because I love the idea of the store , for saving money and repurposing items . If I get the same energy next time this place will be a no go for us we don’t like to feel judged or unwelcome where we are trying to spend our money .

I would leave zero stars if I could. This location has the most rude and unprofessional staff. They are never welcoming and always look as if you are inconveniencing them if you ask a question. I don't expect 5 star customer service because I know that's unrealistic these days but at least pretend you somewhat like people when you're there. So disappointed we don't have another store closer to us. The only positive thing to this location is that they do have a wide selection of items. Just be aware when you're going here to shop.
