I came here a total of 2 times once in early January and again in April. In January I received the quidad cut by Audrey and when asked to describe what this cut comes with she went into great detail but left out how it includes thinning out my thick curly hair that I worked so hard to maintain! Since my hair had so much density I didn’t notice the first time around and the cut came out great! Unfortunately due to a tiny amount of heat damage on my end I decided to go back again in April to cut the little bit of damage off and to maintain the layers that have loosened a bit (she also recommended me to come back after 3 months in January) what I thought would be a small trim turned into a nightmare. she gave me what she called a “quidad cut touch up” that consisted of her thinning my hair AGAIN which once again she did not make it clear that that’s what the cut comes with. So me completely blind to it I leave the chair and go home to see uneven thinning (there’s more hair on the left side than right) and my hair falling flat with little to no volume. Not to mention her thinning method was basically cutting random curls off around my entire head that ultimately just left me with an insane amount of frizz. I was absolutely horrified and contacted the manager just to see if there’s anything I can do regarding get a not so good cut just to be told that her stylists are good at describing cuts and that I should’ve spoken up about what I wanted (which I would’ve done if I knew thinning was involved in the first place). It’s going to take me forever to grow out the 1 inch curls all around my head. Audrey was really sweet and did a great job the first time around but why feel the need to thin someone’s hair out twice in the span of 3 months without clarifying it? im not sure. The pictures are before the original cut > to the first cut > after the second cut. I don’t even write bad reviews but I wake up a lot days mad about my hair since it happened so why not.Service: Haircut

This place is amazing and so cute! I called the day off and they were so kind and took me in! I was offered coffee right on the spot. My hairstylist Peyton was so sweet and was genuinely interested in getting to know me and took great care of me. Looking forward to coming back!Service: Hairstyling

I absolutely dread getting my hair done because I never like the result and/or the stylist is rude. Due to a few negative experiences at Studio 6a, I came back here to Rainbow Room. They are so welcoming (will even offer you coffee or tea) and professional. Thank you, Audrey, for cleaning up my hair and making it look so healthy! The salon was beautiful and welcoming! I was offered a beverage when I walked in and Audrey was ready for me right on time. I just needed a cut but she went above and beyond and gave me a gorgeous blowout to make the new cut complete and the products she used left my hair soooo soft. I'm so glad I took a chance with Kayle. I have been searching for someone who knows how to color blonde hair. My blonde hasn't been this beautiful since I moved back to Cleveland 7 years ago. She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. I'm so happy with my color and cut. I have the most difficult hair to cut since it's slightly curly and wavy in other parts. I have been to a few "curl specialists" and paid a lot of money to come out disappointed. This is my second visit with Kaylee and I'm so happy with my cut and color. All the products that she recommended I absolutely love and have made a big difference in the health of my hair.

Simply WOW! This salon was wonderful, and I discovered it on Yelp. The helpful and friendly personnel took the time to hear not just what I wanted but also what I didn't want. Scalp massage, free touch-up makeup when finished, overall amazing experience. I'm eager to go back and get my hair colored.

I have been going to Brenda here, at this salon, following her thru different locations for 25 years and having a great experience every visit!! Since Brenda is gone, (RIP) and the salon is under new management it is a cold and uninviting place to visit. Very commercial now! You are a paycheck to them. The salon is NOT the same as the pleasant professional salon it used to be where you were #1 and stylists had open ears. There doesn't seem to be relationship building there......just $$$. Wendy, the old owner, was rude and very harsh to people. Now all the stylists there are new and don't have much experience and if you are used to the best, you expect more. The new owner does not care about you.....she cares about the daily $$$ amount! She can walk right by you and not say a word. I no longer recommend or support this salon. I used to go there for Brenda and Brenda only!! It is now very commercial and not personal! Extremely disappointing after 25 years!!Services: Haircut

I scheduled a curly cut and when I arrived waited for 45 mins to then find out my hair would be cut wet. I figured I would try it. She thinned my already thinning hair and did not layer much at all. When I told her my concerns I was told it would not work. This ended up being a pretty bad cut with no shape. I stopped and bought professional shears on my way home and cut my hair myself which I have never done but had to. I saw beautiful cuts and colors being done there but for curly hair this is not the place.Service: Haircut
