Everytime I go to my unit I'm nervous that everything in it will be gone. As you drive to your unit there are numerous units that have been opened and rummaged through. People's belongings just scattered all around. What's left of it anyway. I've been here since before there was even a fence up and there was never this much trouble. They need to utilize the residence that is there to have an on site employee/security guard. I will gladly do it Red Dot Storage.

Years ago was a good place to store your stuff but since there is no one there it is a desaster. It's dirty, unsafe, don't have cameras and every week storages are been opened by thieves and the insurance company make it hard to make a claim and recover some money from where you ben stolen, whitehall police recomended get out of there has soon has posible. DON'T RECOMENDED.

I’ve been in four or five different locations from red Dot. The one off of Broad Street was by far the worst under maintenance. One I’ve ever seen the unit I purchased in an auction was full of cockroaches, which means a lot of the units. Beside of it was probably full of roaches, there was glass particles screws nails all through the parking lot people Blocking pass-throughs they truly don’t care about their facilities. I personally would never rent from these People and the only reason they get a one star is because it would not allow me to leave it empty

If I could rate this place a negative 5 I would. I ordered this unit online without seeing it and at 3.5 stars I gave it a chance. Upon arrival I looked around and the front was clean yes, but as I made my way to the back where my unit is, it was absolutely disgusting. Broken glass, plastic, destroyed tires, shopping carts, trash EVERYWHERE. I don't feel safe there and neither did my wife. Inside the unit, the light bulb was broken on the floor and we replaced the bulb and it still wouldn't work. Crumbling concrete on the units entry points and it resembled more of a junk yard than a storage unit. I will be moving again next week to somewhere that actually cares about their company and their clients. Caution to anyone looking to rent here. Go check for yourself before renting. Not even kidding. It is terrible and the units have dry rot on the side walls and the metal clasps are a second away from breaking apart. Thank GOD I have insurance but that won't save the sentimental stuff we have in there in the event of a break-in. I tried to address this to the company several days ago with no response so now time to go public with it..

Bought a storage from auction. There is glass littered on the ground of the storage which caused a flat tire. The call center is located in Jamaica and they aren't looking to really offer much help. They won't extend the clean out date because I don't have a vehicle to get over there. They won't compensate you for the ground being littered in glass. You won't see it until after run over it. It's not open 24/7. They keep responding the reason they don't do it is because of crime, which is fine, but stop advertising that you have 24/7 access and you don't. I just wished that they cared about their property and renters. Also the 4 o 5 stars that you are seeing, isn't from actual renters, they are from friends and employees. I'll post photos of what the location really looks like shortly.

twice that I've come out and the gate is broken, twice that I've been told a supervisor will fix it on Wednesday. does not offer 24/7 access like advertised. I've been renting 2 units for 3 years, I'm going to submit the videos and pictures to the ohio attorney generals office because red not has done nothing but raise rates through the roof and tell me "sorry there's nothing we can do." fair enough, there's something your customers can do and that's fight back against illegally detaining our property and false advertising

No comment!!But please do better with your automated system I did an Inquiry quote& I decided not to go forth with the company a representative called me to confirm if I was still interested.. I simply replied I went with a cheaper company representative says thank you no problem . Think of our company " Red Dot" in the near future if needed storage unit great no problem have a great day . Next day I receive an email stating I owe money for a storage unit I decided not to rent!!!!! How ... What .. and why would this happen???Someone recommended me to Red Dot I truly wish they hadn't!

One week into the rental. So far two stars: location and reasonable cost. Have visited three times: 1st) find my unit and assess lock type needed, 2nd) attempt to use currently owned cylinder lock from a unit used years ago but was unable make a good connection in order for lock mechanism to turn, 3rd) bought disc lock at hardware store but was unable/unwilling to drive compact car through narrow gate opening.I am disappointed to find a post where the gate's keypad positioned. One must get out of the car to enter a code or reverse and reposition the car to get through. Two guys were checking out the problem with the gate on the 2nd visit, but the opening seemed more narrow 3rd time. Spoke with a representative and was told they were aware of the problem so I'm giving it a few more days and then go for fourth assessment.

I sure Wish I would have read the Reviews literally this experience has been a nightmare they cut my lock off by mistake, than a month later did it again without giving me notice it has been 4 days and i have been unable to get into my unit , it is never no one on site its always crackheads or bums loitering the lot, this place is a nightmare very unprofessional, I can not stress enough how i wish i would have read the reviews . If I Can Save Anyone From Wasting Their Money Or Sanity Please Do Not Use Red Dot Storage!!!

When I got there someone took my unit that I reserved online. I called customer service to find me another unit which she did find another unavailable unit for me which was good. The representative was very nice and helpful.

Kept our boat there over the winter and came back to have ALL our wires to our motor cut and the boat cover opened. They said they aren’t responsible and won’t be able to do anything about it. People also seem to be living in the units and is generally unsafe. Please do not take your belongings here.

Rented space based on advertising 24/7 access. Changed to 7:00-7:00 and now 7:00-10:00 without any change in rate even though I rented it for the purpose of 27/7 access. It is also not secure, the main gate has been wide open for almost 2-months. This company is the worst.
