I recently attended a funeral for a young friend of mine that passed away. It was very sudden and needless to say, devastating to his family and friends.The service at the gravesite was nothing less than rushed. Family members were literally asked to step off of Peinert-Dunn’s ground mats, to insure the staff could roll up the equipment they were gathered on and around. We were barely Past the service time that everyone was given to show up...( never mind having time to find the place and get out of your car and walk across the cemetery ) It was 1 o’clock and by 20 after 1, they wanted their mats pulled up! They took my friend’s picture dowgn off the easel as soon as the group disbursed after the prayer. My friend deserved more and that family deserved more!! To take such a huge amount of money and perform a service like that when it supposed to be for a person, a loved one, a Human BEING that we are all painfully grieving together??? How dare you?! The whole service was cold, insensitive, generally unprofessional, rude and at the very bare minimum on Peimert Dunn’s part. And Covid is not an excuse to give a half hearted service for human being.They were hired to do a job and failed. I hope no one else has to experience anything like it.

While I've not personally worked with the Dunn family, they have served some of the people I love the most with kindness and care that is above and beyond any expectations. I've heard from multiple people that simply having a Dunn present is comfort in itself. In addition to their services following a loss, they are also proactive and encourage pre-planning so that in the event of a loss of a loved one, all you have to do is make a phone call and they'll take care of the rest.

Trusting the Dunn family to care for our family at the passing of my mother in law was a personal, caring, experience. The Dunn family brings a feeling of personal caring to their profession. We truly appreciated the time they took, the caring they expressed, and the professionalism they offered in our time of grief. This family business strives to create a home like, family centered environment where grief can be expressed and closure can begin. I recommend them highly!Kathy Wilhelm

I have known the Peinert family for over 28 years. I have attended several services at the Waterville and Whitehouse establishments. Bob, Jackie and Angie have sadly enough provided my family and I throughout the years with the kindest professional services. They are truly the best in this business. I will always be forever grateful for there kindness.
