Tried to charge a ridiculous cleaning free. Half the charge for the actual rental. All that was in there were our luggage. Nice try!!

My family rented a transit van for a family vacation that has is a 12 hour drive to the destination for approximately $2K for the week. Upon picking up the vehicle, it was disgustingly dirty from previous renters (My family had to clean before the trip) and the worst part was that all 4 tires are bald! That is a huge safety issue and not street legal. This was mentioned at time of vehicle pickup and my family was told to "Call roadside if you get a flat". Please do not rent anything from this location!!! They obviously do NOT put the safety of their customers 1st!!! I had to give a one star rating as I cannot select ZERO stars because the option is not available!

The man running this business is extremely rude and uncaring. Avis said pickup was at 12:00. Arrived at this location 10 minutes prior and wouldn’t give me car. Used foul language and kicked me out.

After my experience with Wes at the Wickliffe location on Euclid Ave. I can see why the place has a 2 star review. I only put one star because Google does not allow me to to rate accurately which would be in the negatives.
I had a reservation for pick up 8am. As myself and many other awaited until well after store opening hours, I heard the individuals around me waiting all saying the same thing. The guy is always late, never on time, and is very unprofessional. This guy is Wes. When he pulled in I witnessed it first hand.
He told me that I could not pay my security deposit with a different card than what was used online for the reservation. He made me cancel my current reservation and then would not proceed to process another transaction as a walk in customer. He said "they don't do that there" and don't take walk in customers. I had to do it online, so I went outside, sat on the curb and then made another reservation.
I asked Wes I noticed 15 cars were returned and why no inspections were made? He said he doesn't do that, it's not up to him, that's up to the customers and that he just charges ppl for any damages no question.
After speaking to customer service they were very surprised to hear that I received this kind of service and confirmed that everything he told me was pretty much a lie. I made a complaint with customer service right then and there and am moving forward with an informal complaint as well just incase this gets swept under the rug.
I will say this is partially our fault for not looking at the reviews first and solely price shopping. Looked at the wrong numbers!! I'm in the trades and anything with the term "budget" when it comes to services and materials is something you just want to stay away from. That's just the rule of thumb. Cheaper is not better especially today and my experience proves that! I apologize to enterprise because we are loyal customers and I don't know what I was thinking. Never had an issue with them and next month we will be back to share our story as to why we will stay with them. This process took over an hour and a half of just waiting and could of all been avoided. I don't know how this place is in business. It also ended up costing more in the end because by him making me cancel our reservation, the rates were then higher. I can't say it was intentional but I'm sure my story will paint a different picture of you just focus on Wes's actions. This location fits the inner city demographic and Wes is the epitome of "that's not my job". Very Erie and uncomfortable aura radiating from Wes. I felt like I was back in Iraq just sitting there in the lobby. I felt far more comfortable outside away from the guy.
The pictures below are just 2 pictures of many and there were many other points to the story however I feel this review is already elongated. These scratches Wes did not want to record. Picture was taken before we left the lot. Also I don't drink Starbucks. These cars don't even get cleaned between customers, someone just looks at it and says "good nuf".

So, got here for my rental, they ran my license and there machine kept denying it so they were about to not give me the rental. They ran it a fourth time and it passed. My rental was prepaid, they asked for my card to confirm it and their system wouldn’t confirm my card. The guy behind the desk was trying to tell me the money never came off the card. Called up my bank in front of him on speaker and they confirmed that the payment was taken. Instead of finding a work around since there system was clearly the one at fault the guy just told me he can’t do nothing for me.
My situation probably won’t be anybody else’s, seems like I hard the worth luck imaginable but the guy could have just given me the rental. I paid and had proof I paid.

First I want to say the guy that works the desk is rude he has an attitude with everyone that walks in there because he has to explain how we can rent a can because it isn't clear when you make reservations online so once you do make the reservation you go to the store with this rude worker just to find out you need everything under the bus just to rent I had made my reservation month prior the day I went to pick it up was the day before we left to go on our vacation I got denied due to a small credit check done they don't state that they do this when you make the reservation I was denied on the spot to I had to scramble just to make sure I could get a car I DIDNT I had to take my very small car with 5 adults Jamed packed with luggage then I had to call to cancel my reservation because the guy at the destination wouldnt he didn't do much other than denied everyone that came in there to rent a car well after canceling my reservation I had to wait 10 days to get my money back well guess what they neber canceled it so today I had to call once again to cancel mt reservation that I had already cancelled because I didn't get my money back now I have to wait another 6 days to get it back this place sucks good luck getting what you need without hassle

Please do not waste your time renting a vehicle at this place.
1. Very unprofessional and rude staff
2. Unclean and dirty cars
3. All cars they have are very old and have at least 70k mileage.
4. They don’t accept corporate discounts even if the employee is a passenger on our rental. They are only asking for ID card and don’t accept email.
5. They always won’t have the card we reserved.

Quick and easy service. MAKE SURE TO USE THE BUDGET APP OR GO ONLINE BEFORE RENTALS!!! Bring a second form of id when checking in and using a credit card for the deposit.

Multiple negative experiences. Agent at the counter was always the same and completely rude and condescending for absolutely no reason. And to boot, vehicles are dirty and they don't even have what you reserve. Just walked out without getting my rental that I reserved weeks in advance bacuse nothing was available. Avoid this location at all costs.

The absolute worst car rental experience I’ve ever had! I travel a lot so I’ve been here a few times and each time has been a nightmare. Customer service is awful, the cars are never what you pay for and I’m stranded here right now trying to catch an Uber to work because they are absolutely no help here. Go somewhere else!
