There was a Issues with gift bought through this "bank" term used loosely. when my wife called about it Josh the supposed manager was rude and unhelpfully. When ask for his supervisor he hung up the phone. Called back only to have him tell my wife "this is how things are going to be done". After speaking with him myself I could clearly see this moran should not be working in customer service. Money still not refunded and Josh still refusesed to get a supervisor as requested several times. Glad this is no longer my bank. Thiefts 100%

This bank enables payroll diversion theft/fraud. I was a victim, and thanks to my school district's policy of issuing a paper check prior to any direct deposit change, the payroll department was able to stop this from finalizing. I have a copy of the fraudulent direct deposit form from this bank that was used, and it does not have a canceled check attached. That alone should rouse suspicion. So should the fact that no one from this bank returned telephone calls I made to resolve this situation on its end. Thanks to this bank and its engagement in thievery, my school district now requires employees to personally complete a direct deposit change in person in the payroll office.

I purchased a Vanilla gift card for $75.00 for my daughter Monday, December 23, 2019 for a Christmas gift. I gave it to her Christmas day. She tried using it the next day and the card was invalid. She then tried using it on Amazon card was declined. I called the number on back of card I was told by their representative I will I have to wait up to 15 business days to get a new card. I read comments on other websites other people get these same cards from Vanilla and they do not work and they lose their money. I am a single mom and this $75 took me a whole day of working overtime to come up with this money. Now my daughter has no Christmas gift. I tried talking to a supervisor see could we speed it up the process so she would have to wait so long for a replacement card. I was hung up on by a very rude gentleman. I just want what I paid for. Sutton Bank has ruined my daughters Christmas. I do not have another $75 to give her. This is a terrible company. Make sure you are not buying a Vanilla Visa Cards you can get ripped off. Sutton bank owns this company and offered no help to me and they won't for you either.

This bank is single-handedly ruining my credit score. How, you ask? On 3 separate occasions now they have failed in one way or another to get my credit card bill to me on time. This time, even more special, they issued a check to Visa BUT MAILED IT TO MY ADDRESS. Who the heck would logically think to themself the ENTIRE VISA CORPORATION sits in an apartment?!?!??!?! #DumbestBankOfTheYear #DumbestBankOfTheCentury #AChildWouldLiterallyKnowBetter #ClosingMyAccount #ShouldHaveDoneIt5YearsAgo

I use to bank with PNC but choose to switch to Sutton a couple years ago and I am glad I did. Staff is super friendly and helpful. No ATM fees, their website is put together perfectly and they have an app for android and Iphone.
