Through an agreement I can use Firefighters Community Credit Union (FFCCU) through shared branching that allows me as a member of a different credit union that's out of town to use FFCCU's services as if I was a member of FFCCU. I have never had a bad experience working with FFCCU and appreciate that they have helped me make large deposits, get money orders, cashier checks, count coins and treated my kids well when they've come in to bank.

Called to talk to a loan officer about buying an investment property. Tonya answered the phone and said we don't do that here. Was not nice and very blunt, I still asked to speak someone and she said will I'm the one who takes the applications and we don't do that here. I asked again she said I'll transfer you and got disconnected. She did call back and apologized that she was new and I said why are you even discussing investment loans when you have no skills and that was the end of the call. She hung up and no call back this time. Already approved at cardinal credit union in a day. Please don't waste your time and Tonya should not be answering any calls period.

BEWARE BEWARE OF THEM at the last minute after a week and a half of back and forth exchange paperwork and slow to get back phone calls they denied me for not living in their area. Messed up my credit score by 20 points and didnt even try to make it up to me by removing the inquiry. DO NOT DO IT THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL JUST A TOTAL TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.

On 1/27/21 my husband drove from Richmond Hts to the Willoughby branch at 7am to use the ATM so that we would avoid an ATM fee. Even though the ATM was working, it would not allow him to withdraw money from our checking or savings account. So naturally, he got a balance inquiry to see if we had enough to cover the withdrawal (we had more than enough).He left, frustrated and then we realized we were charged a $.75 fee for the balance inquiry when we couldn't even access OUR MONEY. I called today 1/29/21 and spoke to Alicia who told me that it's OUR job to review their entire fee schedule to know when we're going to be charged and that there was nothing she could do about the fee. Yes, it's only $.75, however it was also my husband's time, gas, and the inconvenience that he couldn't even access OUR OWN MONEY (and yes we're FFCCU members and have been for YEARS) only to be told that it was our own fault for not knowing the fee schedule and nothing could be done about it. Terrible customer service and I'm definitely considering removing all 6 of our accounts and finding a better place to do business.

I got what I needed done but it was the most impersonal experience I’ve ever had at any financial institution. I felt like an inconvenience. If you’ve ever had to deal with the clerks at the courthouse in Cleveland, it is the same experience.

Terrible. I brought in a bank check, not a personal check not even a company check but a BANK CHECK. They said they had to put a hold on all but 200.00. How is that right? So I have to wait 2 days and go back. I have a disability so it is more than a little inconvenient. They are not the only babk in town.
