Love this Giant eagle, I usually order my groceries for pickup and the workers are so helpful and friendly even during shopping. They will text you to see if you need anything and if they're out of something and ask you if you'd like something else, totally awesome service!!!!!

Was in here the other day, end of June'25, and while checking out through a regular staffed lane, I noticed the elderly lady in front of me being instructed to feed her money 'down there'. I watched as she bent over to feed her bills in to an acceptance slot on a money processor that is roughly knee to waist high. And then she had to collect her coin at the bottom of this device. Shame on you Giant Eagle.
I understand, and don't like, businesses shifting their work load from staff to patron. We've come to expect self checkouts while still desiring the interaction of an actual human. But this, this forcing people with cash to bend over or squat to tender payment is going beyond acceptable.
Giant Eagle has taken the cashier portion of the job and turned that person into a breathing barcode scanner.
I wonder how many elderly folks you'll have to help up off the floor after they topple over while collecting their pennies.

Clean, has everything grocery complete with hot foods. Deli, Sushi bar, liquor, bakery, awesome produce... the only place I go for foodstuff.

Ordered curbside, received my text it’s ready, I show up and they haven’t even started shopping for my order. If you’re running behind simply communicate so you don’t have people waiting in 80 degree + heat. It’s that easy. Respect peoples time and they’ll respect your business. Sat for fourty mins getting texts theyre out of everything. Phenomenal service….
Update- I was never told it was completed. 90 minutes after my pick up time I had to call and they said they’d bring it out with another. I’ll never inconvenience this giant eagle again with helping me with my grocery needs.

Grocery pickup is horrible, never ready on time. App says “order ready” and when you arrive it’s not. The app is not user friendly and they are always out of things but won’t give a rain check. I thought it would improve over time and gave them another chance but I’ll stick with Walmart.

Please for the love of god keep the self checkouts open. Tired of the long lines and the employee checking me out wasting time arguing with everyone about using the divider between orders.

Customer service could use some training in CUSTOMER SERVICE??..... When someone says "Thank You", I would think the reply from CUSTOMER SERVICE would " Your Welcome"..... not a hand up in my ear......Leslie......?

Highlights of Giant Eagle are the bakery and meat section. Also this location has a good selection of wine and beer, plus the state liquor store within is convenient. They also pretty much have all the "standard" and slightly "obscure/rare" name brand items that are standard at grocery stores. I enjoy the self-serve kiosk bank they installed, usually no wait checking out when I've gone. It serves its purpose. Would go more if prices were cheaper (but they gotta up sale for all the good stuff, so I get it.) it serves its purpose. Solid location.

I called the pharmacy to get information about my medicine, because the pharmacy I have been going to for almost 7 years is closing. The pharmacist that I spoke with was extremely rude, and condescending . Not that it matters, but I'll be choosing a different pharmacy. I deal with enough b.s. in my daily life, I don't need to add that kind of crazy to it . I understand her job is stressful, but so is everyone else's, no need to act like that to a person who's just asking a question.
