Room was dirty but clean microwave and fridge. Non-smoking but had burn holes on bedding and scorch marks on sink. No creeps in the lot.

Don't recommend if cleanliness is a top priority in your hotel stays. Bedbugs and the smell of cigarettes in the room stood out to me and my parents upon entering the room. I asked the guy at the front desk for a refund, said to call his manager on monday. Also, the area didn't look all too safe either.

DO NOT RENT THEY HAVE ROACHES & REFUSE REFUNDS , They had roaches were very rude refused to give me a refund got mad because I asked if everybody that works there are Indian because all the Indian employees were being rude & were mad that that had roaches the manager Lisa was very nasty over the phone saying I offended the GM which I never spoke to a general manager I never argued or raised my voice at the employees I simply asked why he can’t give me my money back he said thats not his job that he doesn’t really work there & I have to wait Monday to speak with the manager it’s up to her to give me a refund mind you this the guy at the desk checking in rooms so I don’t understand how he said he didn’t work there but I wasn’t going to argue I asked if everybody that worked there was Indian & if they had a number I can reach out to somebody on he said no I had to come in Monday to speak to manager so I left I called today to speak with Lisa & she was very rude didn’t care to hear my side said that the employees told the general manager what happened & they have videos I said okay if everything is recorded you will never hear or see me raise my voice get aggressive or anything I simply asked a question that didn’t like so clearly it’s family owned & they think they can do what they want they said they don’t care they are they think they are untouchable I will be reporting to the health department & the better business bureau let’s see these ratings in a week since they have fake google accounts leave nice reviews on there room

Great location with lots of restaurants option. Very clean and the Jacuzzi was very nice. Great price for what we were looking for. Easy check in and out.

NO bugs. Clean linen, water was COLD AS HELL and when it did heat up it was lukewarm at best, this is not for longterm stay, you will be comfortable if it's only a night or two or a single person, does have a microwave and fridge, very limited channels was unable to hookup firestick, does have wi-fi, bathroom is standing room only very small and hard to move around, located across from multiple restaurants and shopping center

A great little place to stay. Rooms were clean and large. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Location is great with groceries, shopping and restaurants nearby.Walkability: Outside of downtown, but plenty of walkways into the surrounding neighborhoods

I booked a nonsmoking room and as soon as my husband and I walked into the room it clearly smelt like smoke, it was 10pm at night and we had just driven six hours to get there so we just wanted to go to bed and deal with it later. In the morning I had a migraine from the smoke smell. Later on when trying to enjoy our trip I got a phone call from the hotel saying the staff went into our room and our stuff was collected and is behind the desk and we needed to get it because we didn’t check out. They told me we were suppose to check out that morning, I gave them my name and they check my booking and we still had one night stay. They in no way apologized. When I asked why they did this they said it was our fault because we had a week prior added on a night and we were suppose to check in and out the next day and later on check in again. The staff who made the booking did in no way tell us about this policy and said we would have no issue staying in the same room both nights. When I got upset the staff member gave the phone off to the manager and she told me the same thing I tried explaining (I kept getting cut off my the manager) we were not informed about this policy and we were never called to warn us about not checking out in time and them collecting our stuff she claimed she had call me several times but I had zero missed calls or voicemails on the only phone number I gave them. She finally hung up on me when I was still trying to understand why this happened. The manager also never apologized for the mistake that was made and did not offer any solutions or accommodations for the mistake. I of course did not feel comfortable staying there one more night so we got our stuff and booked another hotel and at such sort notice and in the area we were in was three times as much and yes we never got any money back from the Skylight inn.

Want to stay at a hotel with the smell of smoke in a non smoking rooms? Want things not clean? Want extreme rude staff? Want said staff to lie several times about their policies and how they are operating a hotel? Want the staff to take all of your personal belongings in the room you booked, throw them in a trash bag and almost take it to the dumpster? Then boy you will love this hotel!Basically my wife and I, we booked this hotel for a quick trip to Cleveland and we needed to extend our stay by an additional day. After talking to the staff they informed us this would be two bookings but we wouldn’t have to check out and we could keep the same room.When we arrived we noticed the room smelled of cigarette smoke but after 6+ hours of driving and arriving late in the night and no other rooms available we decided to deal with it for the weekend.Following day, we are on our business out and about and we get a call from the hotel. Saying that they kicked us out of the room we booked. Even though we were given confirmation that we would be good to keep our stuff in the room and not needing to check in again. We explained this to the lady on the phone several times and she didn’t want to listen. She said to get your stuff from the front desk. We asked why didn’t they call before and they said they did several times and we never once got a call prior. After several minutes of trying to resolve the situation they hung up on us.We stopped what we were doing and managed to get our stuff from their trash bags, before someone was going to throw these out. I heard a comment from someone in the back making a joke about it and the staff members who went to get it laughed. Most unprofessional staff with worst hotel my family has ever stayed at. Would not recommend.
