This Ace Hardware store right here in Willowick is why the Home Depots (East 185th in Cleveland) and Big Box stores will never get all our business. It's night and day shopping when you have customer service and support like this store/location!!

Third time here . For some reason I always get a racist vibe , but I always give ppl the benefit of the doubt. One of my coworkers said the same when they came here before. I was hoping I could be wrong but today there was a customer in there with a confederate flag on his hat. My young son noticed it before I did. Seems idiotic because confederates hate “Northerners” yt or blk. So no other reason to wear that other than to express you’re a racist. He was chit chatting with the two of the workers when we first walked in . No respectable business will let ppl walk through their store with a badge of hate on .
I will not be back. Disgusting

I go out of my way for the service at an Ace. There had to be 15 people and they all seemed put out when I asked where to find what I was looking for.
The worst Ace I've ever walked into.

I want to thank management for helping me with my screen repairs. I am grateful to Dave who guided and made sure our repairs were done correctly.The repairs were done very nicely. I love the old school feel. I like that the sale associates help the customers-along with knowledge and helpful tips. A+ Ace Hardware 305 and Lakeshore.

They carry capacitors and contactors for air conditioners!!! Tha k you ace. Very nice even told me what isle to find the product I was looking for when I called in.

Small issue but I received a 5 dollar birthday coupon in the mail and used it to purchase wall outlet and 2 face plates only to realize later I grabbed the wrong amp outlet. Returned to exchange for correct one but now they wanted me to pay for it because exchange would screw up their inventory. I'll shop elsewhere.

If I could give ZERO star I would! Beware, this store is bogus! NO return policy. Nor, does management tell you when you are purchasing lawn equipment once you buy this and take it out of the box you can't return it.
I purchased a EGO POWER + POWERLOAD with LINE IQ 56-volt 16-in Telescopic Shaft Battery String Trimmer on Sunday from the Manager who I explained that I was looking for something easy to use, I didn't want to fuss with string issues, or gas. He sold me the above model for $300.00. I get it home and tried it and first off it was difficult to put it together, second once it was together I tried it out and once you put that battery in it is heavy to walk around with. Second the string disappeared. I took it apart and brought it back to the store the same day and talked to the manager who sold it to me and he looked at me and said, I'm sorry, I can't take this back you opened it and tried it out. I said WHAT!?! I had it for 2 hours and returning it. Why didn't you inform me as a manager that ACE does not have a return policy on open items? Where is it posted over here? He told me I should have tried it out before I purchased it. How can you try it in the store when you have no batteries in the weedwackers? He didn't respond other than I am sorry you took it out of the box and tried it. Nothing we can do, it is store policy. You can call Angela DuBois, who is the owner, and see if she will do it. Angela has not called me back regarding this issue.
As an owner, you would think Angela would want to keep repeat customers and rectify this situation instead she rather ignore it.
