Well, I haven't had any issues with picking up prescriptions as of yet, but this is the third attempt I've made at trying to get a shingles shot. The first two times I was informed that I couldn't get one for whatever reason. At the time that I went it looked that they just didn't want to be bothered. This time I called. They said it was fine that I come down there. I went down there. The girl filled out the paperwork. Well I filled out the paperwork. The girl said have a seat she'd be right with me. I literally sat there for 50 minutes I went back to the window. Spoke with a different girl who was very nice and apologized and said if I wanted to wait it would only be 10 more minutes. I decided to wait and 20 minutes later I went back to the window decided to cancel and that one person looked up at me. Apologized said that I could just go ahead and get it. They would take care of me nothing. They just canceled it and not a word was said I am beyond angry so I waited an hour and 10 minutes to walk away with no shot

Should have been called and told my prescription was on Back Order , went 2 days without my medication that can cause seizures and high blood pressure!! Pharmacist showed no empathy at all !!

The pharmacist was very unprofessional and rude and asked me to leave the drive thru because they didn’t have my prescription after I just left the ER. They didn’t want to help me. The ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY EVER I WILL BE SWITCHING PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Very RACIST

I had a terrible experience at the Giant Eagle pharmacy in Lakeshore. The manager, Angelina, was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I realized I had paid by mistake, she refused to assist me in fixing the problem. Even when I went back to try to resolve the issue, she was dismissive and uncooperative.
I mentioned to her that I was considering taking my business elsewhere due to her poor service, and she nonchalantly replied, "it's okay, we are busy here anyway." This type of attitude is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the pharmacy as a whole.
I urge the pharmacy corporate to take note of this review and address the behavior of their staff, particularly Angelina. Customer service should be a top priority, and it is clear that this pharmacy is lacking in that department. I will not be returning to this location and will be seeking out a pharmacy that values their customers

I would never recommend this pharmacy to anyone. I have had several experiences there - all bad. I went to pick up a Rx and was told it didn't exist. Went back later and it magically appeared. The gentleman who works there could not move slower if he tried. It appears as if he is making an effort to move as slowly as possible. Which explains why the line, both in-store and through the drive-up, takes an inordinately long time to move.
The staff does not acknowledge your presence promptly and do not appear to care whether or not they help you or whether they have any interest in their job. It's as if they are doing you a favor by even acknowledging your presence. The worst pharmacy I have ever been to.
Further, I often grocery shop in conjunction with picking up prescriptions, so I would also choose another grocery store.

Not shocked. No desire to actually help people. Showed up in time. They had my order but wouldn’t fill it because “we have a whole process we go through” and it would probably put us past 8 pm. So you’ll have to come back in the morning.
No I work in the morning like the rest of the world. Just actually post your real hours so I don’t get sent here by urgent care with my eye infection so you can look at me but not help.

Just met with Angelina, the pharmacy director (?), from the Giant Eagle pharmacy and was shocked at how horrible she is! Honestly, she is the worst pharmacist I have EVER encountered... And guess what? I used to teach good customer service. But I would have FIRED her if she was one of my students! Horrible customer service.
Told the store manager about her insulting behavior, and am calling the Main Giant Eagle office, as well as University Hospitals to let them know how terrible I was treated.
*"Do NOT use them.**
They really don't care about you or your medicine. And they do NOT ask for an insurance card, and will charge you full price.... With no refund. Even if you show then an insurance card later! Thank you Angelina for how polite and nice you are!

Giant eagle on lakeshore in Willowick has the most disrespectful pharmacy staff. I just left this morning…. After trying to pickup my prescriptions, first of wall I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged when 3 people were currently working . Once I was waited on and my medications were rang up I asked why I was being charged differently than I ever have and if it were being ran through by insurance properly.
The pharmacist proceeded to tell me to calm down and that I was being defensive and that she felt threatened…
I said ma’am all I have done is simply ask you questions to figure out who I need to call to get my medications, I’m sure if you take medication and it’s not covered properly you ask questions , correct..?
She said I don’t have those problems I work here ….
Refused to give me my medications told me I could come back later after I calmed down .. She then called security saying she felt threatened all because why…. Because I have tattoos and I had questions about the medications and coverages that you’re looking at on your screen..
.No one threatened you Angelina T or made you uncomfortable ma’am
Don’t cry wolf when real crime is happening in the world.

DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. The pharmacist refused to fill a prescription an hour and a half before they closed, claiming that I’m being irresponsible and therefore “punishing” me by making me wait. When I pleaded with the pharmacist to push it through because it’s a very important ALREADY PORTIONED PRESCRIPTION, she said that she couldn’t have it done until tomorrow because it was too close to the time they close (two girls were on their phones near the counter, obviously not working which is clearly part of the problem here). The pharmacist preceded to tell me that I’m responsible for my own prescriptions and the refills and that it does not warrant then putting a rush on it. I called the Willoughby Giant Eagle Pharmacy and they said that was uncalled for and had the prescription ready in five minutes. Clearly this particular location has completely forgotten about why they are in this line of work.
