I've taken my vehicles to Four Star for almost 16 years now, since we moved to this area, and I've come to trust their opinion. They have always gone above and beyond over the years. They gave recommendations when my daughter had to get a new car as to what brands and models tended to have the most mechanical problems. We've also taken potential used cars there to get them checked out.

Four Star has been our mechanic for about 25 years. They provide excellent service at a reasonable price. Russell and Teresa are the best!

I took my 1986 Chevrolet C20 cargo van to them to have a tune up and new spark plugs put in. The mechanic who looked it over was very rude and insulting. He said all the things that were wrong with it, and said I should get rid of it and get a new one. He didn't want to work on it. And charged me $45 to just look at and no work done.
I took it to another mechanic that did what I asked. And it's been running fine ever since.
I would give Four Star Auto Service a one star rating and being generous with that.

They got my car in the next day to look at it & called to discuss the issues through the repair process. Very helpful & efficient! I will definitely be taking my vehicles back.

Teresa and Joe were amazing. We got stranded in Wooster with a break down 5 hrs from home. They were able to find the part , get it delivered and installed, all in the same day! We are very grateful for their service, kindness and empathy for our situation. Service business does not get any better than this. And a fair price too! Thank you so much!

They are excellent. Fair price and do their work very timely. Teresa is extremely informative and seems to always be looking out for her customers' best interest. I trust Four star with all of my vehicle repair needs.

My gf who is an exchange student just left your shop and she called me about how she was treated....which was amazingly fair and well taken care of!She said there were previously quoted parts that were not necessary for replacing and that you saved her money in-turn.Also, she went to a different shop first, they quoted her the same price but for only half the work that was needed. I told her to GTFO of there and find someone else, especially after reading their terrible reviews.You guys did it all for less than the same amount the other shop quoted.So I think it's important to point out that this shop does not price gouge based on the fact that you're a lonesome woman looking for an honest and fair car repair and will not price gouge based on if you're not from the U.S.Many shops will do this and it's wrong and should be illegal. So THANK YOU! She is very happy with everything.She has many foreign exchange student friends at the OSU Wooster campus who will use you in the future now.
