If I was able to put 0 stars I would. All the goodwill stores in wayne and holmes county are junk. The way it's set up look like a horders house, you cant even look through the shelves without something falling off. This place is going downhill quick.

Wow. There is a review here that is about Megan the manager and her over the top reprimand of the employees on the floor. We'll either she does it on a regular basis or I was there at the same time and saw the same thing. I felt sorry for the people that work for her. It was painful to watch and hard not to say something to intervene.

I have been there countless times, but today was beyond bad. Megan, the manager, was rude and hateful to the other employees. Upset because they put items in the wrong place. No excuse to be mean--especially in front of the public.
I posted this after midnight (so on Sunday) after I was there. My review stands. Saying it was a day you weren't open doesn't negate the fact that she was rude.

May 2, 2025~ Was charged $3.49 for a used pillow case… they were supposed to be $1.49. The employees wanted to argue with me about it. the guy “ Oh I didn’t inspect it that well”… isn’t it your literal job to know what you’re ringing up and charge the correct amount.? The manager was so huffy and puffy about giving me my refund. Her “Well I don’t how know”. Kept saying her drawer was going to be short two dollars… honestly I’d rather goodwill be “short two dollars” then me be overcharged by $2.24 on $1.49 item…. ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE PILLOW CASE WAS DONATED TO GOODWILL FOR FREE…… I just stood there staring and said “aren’t you the manager?” Her” Well we’ll just have to get Crystal up here”. Her entire attitude changed as soon as Crystal came up and she was finally nice to me. She was overly apologetic to Crystal for having to show her AGAIN but did not apologize to me once. This ordeal wasted 10 minutes of my life that. And to top it all off she wouldn’t give me a receipt to prove it was refunded to my card. I will be calling my bank and disputing the charge if I am not refunded correctly. Especially after how poorly I was treated by the first “manager”.
I’ll just give all of my business to Mission thrift down the street. They are actually nice to their customers.

I thrift every single week. I spend hundreds at thrift stores every month. I will go to ANY goodwill except for this one. The woman who works the afternoon (Beverly @ 2pm) shift on Sunday’s is the WORST. She will literally tell every single person to “have a blessed day” until my whole gay wife and I walk up. Then she refuses to speak. When I tell her something rang up wrong she just flees at me with pure hate. This woman is AWFUL and Im assuming homophobic. It’s fine, this goodwill is pure trash anyway.

I have been shopping at this goodwill for years and I'm not sure whose doing the pricing there lately but everything's way to overpriced and I wasn't the only customer there talking about it. There was an end table for $175, cedar chest that was priced at $200, Bath and body works items that are USED are $6.50 to $8 same items are on sale for $3 BRAND NEW at Bath and body works. You guys get this stuff donated for free...

Been shopping at different Goodwill stores for over 40 years. This Goodwill is the first store I've ever left empty handed. Extremely over priced. ($15 for a used Yankee Candle. $7 for 1 small roll of ribbon.)
Save a trip. You're missing absolutely nothing.
