I went up to the dealership today and had a conversation with the owner Doug. It seems there is some petty drama going on between my husband and the owner over a post my husband had posted a couple months back. The owner was very upset when my husband mentioned how he bought a deleted truck from them in his review. (Because its illegal) Doug claims if it was deleted, "he didn't know." (How do you inspect a vehicle and not know?) Immediately Doug contacted my husband by email threatening lawsuits for defamation if he didn't remove his post. After going back and forth over email I urged my husband to just remove the post and be done with it.
Until it wasn't.........
Upon clarification from Doug today, he believes my husband turned him into the EPA for selling deleted vehicles. Apparently, they did an inspection at Summit last week. Well, how funny, because last week, on August 29th my husband's business received a 1-star review from the owner's son and employee, Jason Hicks. Upon being notified of this 1-star review, my husband called Summit on 8/30/24 @ 11:31am on a recorded line and asked to speak to Jason Hicks, he answered. My husband asked if he had ever contacted Black River Radon or used their services. Which he had not, so my husband asked him to please remove his review as it was false. Well, that didn't happen, which is why I went in there today to try to have a more civil face to face conversation in hopes his son would remove his post and we could be done with this high school drama. I was shown the door once I reveled who I was. He also said he doesn't know if the Jason hicks who posted the google review is his son or someone else. But me being a woman, I did all the investigating and have plenty of proof to support that it is indeed his sons google account. (See attached photos of other review "Jason Hicks" created vs his fb photos.)
If this is the type of person you want to do business with, I hope you proceed with caution, I hope you don't have a business his son may slander if you cross them
I tried handling this in house today hoping for them just remove their false post from my husband account, but since Doug wanted to deny things and refuse to let me speak to Jason, I figured I'd bring the receipts for the public to make their own conclusion

WE FOUND CHRIST FULL TIME, AS A RESULT WE CAME IN ONE YR AGO AND THERE BEFORE US WAS A 2015 DODGE RAM IN SHOWROOM CONDITION WITH ONLY 76,000 MILES ON IT.. EVEN THE CARPET FUZZ WAS STILL IN PLACE.. A 1 CONDITION WITH A 5.7 HEMI PURRING UNDER THE HOOD.. IAM ONE MONTH AHEAD ON PAYMENTS BECAUSE I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT.. THK YOU JESUS. PD 26,000...PS a professional experience....

Nice guys but......Did my first oil change since purchase and who ever did the oil change cross threaded the oil pan plug.....common sense says dont force if it isnt fitting properly, especially oil drain plugs which go on easily. Last two threads are like the plug is torqued on. ridiculous

Bought a NICE truck from these guys, the sales end was easy, STUFF happens and it sprung a leak on my drive home, the guys in the front had it picked up on their trailer and took it back to their shop, all is swell!!They call,Say the coolant bottle split and they will have it replaced in a few hours, I can come pick it up again same day, again, all is swell..Get the truck backNew bottleNot leakingThus far everything was legitFast forward 90daysI bring it inside my shopStart looking around and notice some stuff that doesnt look proper,Ill let the pics show you how much care their inhouse mechanic took in replacing one basic part...COULDNT even manage to plug the collabt bottle in the harness so the dash indicator could work if it was low, he had the harness shorted out in the end of connector with a fork terminal and a zip tie,(Took more effort to hack it like this, VS just plugging it in...)Every wiring harness clipMost of the fender liner hardwareAnd some of the heatshielding that is in the repair area was ABUSED, Broken, snapped off, pulled and twisted, even managed to crack the RAM-Active-Air lid......ZERO fks were givenClearly hack workId give it one starBut the sales half was smoothAnd they did try to make it right

Had a very bad experience here. Bought a truck for 45k that I had some doubts about as it was a new brand to me. Was assured that if I didn't like it I could always come back and ''trade up" or that they would work with me on finding something else at a similar value. I put 5k easy miles on the truck and a new bedcover, came back and was told that trade in value was 11k less than what I had just paid for it. The explanation given was that the "market had shifted". 11k in 5 months with Used Car Prices going up? This company brands itself as an honest, we want your business for the long haul type, but they are just another shady used car dealer. I would go elsewhere.

*Apparently the owners reading comprehension is as bad as his dishonest sales practices. Never said I don't like the truck, (I do) and never said I was back there yesterday. Was closer to 4 months after I purchased the truck that I stopped back and found out that I was lied to about the "trading up" of the vehicle. After being shown all the reasons that the truck was a good value and then to be told it dropped 11k in value (IN 4 MONTHS) is my issue. As you can see from the owners deflective and unprofessional response, you might want to shop at a place with some integrity. (Maybe the reason they have to sell their cars at such a ridiculous markup is that they only have a few trucks in their inventory so they have to "get" every customer) Don't be one of them! And for the record, you can see that the majority of my reviews are 5 star and positive. Just trying to make sure somebody else doesn't get screwed out of their hard earned money.

Was in the market for a new trailer, I've passed by here several times and decided it was time to stop by. They had what I wanted, all the accessories I needed for it, at a fair price. 10/10 will be returning for more purchases.

Pulled credit multiple times, told them I wanted to out a deposit down since I wasn't in the area. Sent me info on approved loan and then sold truck out from under us.No morals.
