Four stars for a Kroger? From me??? Yep. This place gets bad reviews, though 2 1/2 stars average is pretty standard for Krogers all across town, I see. (Bexley's is absolutely the worst.) The parking lot was easy to get in and out of, though there is a wonky diagonal "street" in it. We parked in a spot right by the front door, at 11am on a weekday. Inside, staff were friendly, the place is bigger than others made it sound, it was clean, things were well organized. Well, a disclaimer on that last part: they are rearranging things, so there were some empty areas, some closed-off aisles, the dog food was split between aisle 1 and like aisle 14. But, work in progress. And staff were very helpful with questions about where stuff was. I didn't have any trouble finding what I needed. And I was there with my mom, and ran to get some things on her list, pretty easily. The selection was decent. There were some really good sales on meat (I got too much, and that's with passing on some steak.) Produce was good. Bathrooms were clean. Many (self-serve) checkout lanes open. I came with a bit of trepidation, and left happy.

lol I like this Kroger because I never have to interact with anyone, it's easy to get in and out, and has what I need. the layout and shelving was just changed up in the last 30 day.

This is now my closest Kroger. I stopped in mid-morning for a few things and had a great experience due to the friendly and helpful employees. I've never had so many Kroger associates greeting me and offering to help me find an item.Bravo to the wonderful and well-trained staff!

This store is conveniently placed and decent size (not too big, not too small), and I wish I had more good to say about it. The customer experience is TERRIBLE!!!! It didn't used to be, but it has gone seriously downhill and corporate needs to get involved. Always out of common items (I've never left with everything I need), not well stocked, self check out only, and horrible staff without any customer service training, or knowledge, of their own store. I had cancer last year and after some surgery could barely walk. My 12 year old son was with me to put things in the cart, check out, etc. since I couldn't lift anything over 5 pounds. We couldn't find an item and had spent some time looking for it. We came across a staff person and asked for help and she was awful. Wouldn't help us, wouldn't call a manager, and was rude. I left the store in tears. If you have the time, go anywhere else.

Since there are no Kroger's in the Northeast, I was interested in seeing how this store compared to those with which I'm familiar. It's somewhat hit or miss. I thought the produce department was in good shape, and the produce was fresh and not beyond ripe. The specials and loss-leaders were competitive, but other "traditional loss leader" items, such as bananas, were significantly more expensive. The meat looked good. I could smell a lot of the seafood from more than 10' away, which is not good. Wine and the adjacent liquor weren't competitive either. This feels like it's an older store, so there aren't as many specialty departments and kiosks and fewer "to-go" and convenience items as you might find in a newer store. The parking lot is a little awkward to drive through and in which to park. It's not a bad store in which to shop, but it is one to compare against others near by.

No manager, no customer service, dirty and not much food. This store is in steep decline and the neighborhood deserves better.

I shop at Kroger a lot and this one thing irritates me: the milk I wanted is on the op shelf (over 5' up) and the shelf is designed so that the containers will slide towards the front as they're removed BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. As the containers in front are removed, the ones in back just stay put and end up farther and farther back. Today there was only one left and it was WAY back. If I were significantly taller, I could reach it but I'm not actually a short person! I ended up calling back there and miraculously, someone heard me and pushed the container towards the front where I could get it, which I do appreciate. Sometimes I have to wait for a tall person to come by and do me a favor. They've had that shelving for years - am I the only person frustrated with it?

Horribly frustrating kroger. Been coming here 20 years and seen multiple remodels. Finally done with this place. Still can't find items. Things constantly moved or out of stock. Inept employees. Always a stressful visit.

I don't know what's happened to this store in the last 18 months. New manager, no manager on property, too many ever-changing young assistant managers, the pandemic, poor hiring and training procedues for new employees, no training for new employees other than how to run a register, poor oversight by managers/assistant managers, poor stock flow, poor customer service as in the young checkout persons standing doing nothing but using their phones and staring at potential customers waiting to be checked out. The store is terrible now. I've shopped there faithfully since 2014 and even in the "reset" days, the customer service and stock provided was excellent. Something is definitely wrong with this store and needs attention and fixing. You'll be losing this customer if it isn't, and I'm betting some others.

This Kroger has a low rating for a reason. I've shopped at Kroger/Ralph's/Food4Less/FoodsCo for decades and I can say that this is one of the saddest stores I've been to. They're NEVER stocked up (even first thing in the morning) it doesn't matter if it's ice cream or cereal: good luck finding what you want. Most of the employees are rude ass f*ck...especially the older white lady with glasses and red hair who's usually at self checkout (there are 2 employees that are very pleasant) Their meat/seafood department & customer service is NEVER open when the store opens, even though it doesn't even open super early like the stores in Cali... On top of that, the produce is REALLY sad. They're selling wrinkled eggplant and wilted leafy greens ? Everything is soft and rotting. I'm not use to this. I need to find a good store to shop at near my house. This definitely isn't it. The only pros: It's super close to my house They sell gas They have freshly made sushi But I can get these things elsewhere. Not worth my frustration.

We had our wedding cake done here by Victor. It was incredible! He did everything we asked for a fraction of the price of other bakers. We just hit our one year anniversary and ate the top of our cake we'd been saving. I really thought it would be dry. It takes as great as I remember! I would highly recommend this bakery for any baked goods, but especially wedding cakes! Thank you so much for not only making our wedding so special, but our anniversary as well, and for being so incredibly accommodating! I would rate more than 5 stars if I could!
