Unfortunately the sod was full of crabgrass. So, if you like crabgrass in your sod then Gerdes has what you need.

This company has horrible customer service and communication. I would recommend using another option for lawn or sod needs. I spoke with Kevin for several weeks to try to fix the job they did only to be told he had no authority to actually fix anything. Brent was supposed to call and discuss my problem but instead I received a call Lynn saying Brent looked into it and there is nothing Gerdes will do to fix my yard that was half dead days after installation.

I love dealing with a company that provides great service, and gives you exactly what you were promised! Gerdes Turf Farms laid 18,000 sq. ft. of beautiful, quality sod at our new house. Every employee we dealt with, from Kevin, to the installers, to the office staff were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and caring. The price was good, the quality was excellent, and the service the employees provided was top notch! We were given expert advice on how to care for the new sod before they left after installation. We are very happy with the way our new lawn looks! So glad we chose Gerdes! Thanks so much for a job well done!

Kevin and his team worked with us through a wet fall and even wetter spring to install sod on both sides of our new driveway and in front of the new barn. Not a single square of sod failed...it looks GREAT! The install team took great care to prep, level, and add soil where needed. The team even added small pieces of sod to holes in my existing yard as they walked by-that shows care and professionalism to me. Nice job!Service: Sod installation

Gerdes Turf is a great run company and they take pride in their work. Their team sodded our entire yard along with rockhounding prior to sod going down. It was instant beautification to our home. I did a LOT of research before selecting Gerdes and they lived up to my expectations! Kevin's team of installers were top notch and fixed all of my yard issues before installing the 3,500 sf of sod. The best recommendation...I would use Gerdes again in a heartbeat!
