“I was in the process of looking for an apartment and this place made me end my search! The apartment I looked at was very nice and the people I talked to were friendly. Props to Chelsea for telling me about the complex ?”

“I've read some of the comments and some of the comments are appalling. Just because someone lives or works in housing does not define them as poor or ignorant. People have their reasons for their situations. Who is anyone to judge. Your living situation is what you make of it. I've live in housing for 11 years and this has helped me to makes some life changing decisions to better my life. The housing authority has programs to help you in every way to sustain your life on your own. I see it as a stepping stone. Not every person is poor or ignorant that lives in housing. There are some great people working for YMHA”
“I moved to the Youngstown area in 2023 for graduate school. After three years of living at Woods of Liberty, I can confidently say I made an excellent decision. Not only are the units reasonably priced, but the property manager, Nicole, is very approachable, accommodating, pleasant, and clearly cares not just about the property, but the experience of the tenants. This is evidenced by the many improvements made even in the few years I've been here (carpeting replaced in stairwells, fresh paint, and a game room built). The pleasant demeanor is not limited to Nicole either, as maintenance and all other staff I have encountered have been polite and courteous as well.
The buildings themselves also require keys to enter, which is an obviously reassuring safety feature, and a locked mail room under constant surveillance goes a long way in preventing package theft. The property is in a quiet area, which is great for students. If you need a place to live in the Youngstown area, you could absolutely do worse than Woods of Liberty.”
