Staff is always friendly and helpful, but the prices are ridiculous! I love the items, plush and clothing, but it's just really hard to afford it, especially for unnecessary item.

It's great for kids however.....In a perfect world, there would be people who are either used to or amazing at working with kids of all abilities. I can't say our visit was the most comfortable. We did leave with the cutest gargoyle for our lil mans Halloween build a bear

Had a Birthday Party For my son and we had a blast , the staff was amazing and Chris who did the party was great , had 8kids total and her patience was outstanding 🫶🏾 good job Build a Bear ❣️

Iv had both good and bad experiances here mostly good and 1 bad .... i go twice a year to get each of my kids their birthday bear ..and its usally a good experiance ... tho they try to upsell you on everything ... but i mean thats kind of their job (also they are not pushy about it at all wich is good ) so its understandable . One trip tho the lady working ... i diddnt pay attention to her name was rather rude ... she did seem personally offended when we declined any up sales and told her we just wanted the birthday bear and nothing else . Also before we even started making the bear she made my kid cry ... because we were just at the jewlery store across the hall and they gave me a lollipop for him ... and when we got to the build a bear he asked me for it .. i of corse told him yes and opened it and handed it to him and the worker goes "ohhhhhh your going to give him that now" in a very rude tone ... and i was like i guess not sorry buddy and went to take it wich caused him to cry a bit .... so she back peddaled and "allowed" him to have it .
(Mind you he is a very good kid and kept the lollipop in his mouth the entire time making 0 mess )
I understand some kids can be messy but A. Its one tiny lollipop its not lile he was eating a birthday cake in the store or caring around a open glass of juice .
and B. This is a kids store ....... ment for kids .you should be able to handle having a kid in your store with a lolliepop
Other then that one incident tho every other trip has been fine and everyone was very nice and friendly

Had one of our best experiences today. Kets be clear. Ive enevr had a bad one at this specific location. Today, I took my girls on a whim, everyone was so kind, helpful, friendly. One of my girls started to feel sick as we printed birth certificates; and everyone stepped in, literally immrdiately; to help us! The greeting girl started clipping tags, so the register girl could scan and go, another woman came in with cold wet towels for her neck! I was so blown away and felt SO blessed to have their help in completing our transaction so we could quickly go. ❤️10/10 recommend this store to anyone!
