I was trying to buy some beer, I understand that I'm legally required to present an ID whenever I'm buying any alchoholic beverage, so i did. I'm guatemalan so i presented my permantent resident ID. When the cashier saw it he said he can't sell it to me because i don't have i government issued ID. So i told him "it is a government issued ID". Then he said that since I'm guatemalan he's not gonna sell me any beer. I know for a fact that the only think that they're supposed to check is the age of the person, and i told him so. Then i asked for a manager and he said he was the manager and that there was no way that he was going to sell alchohol to someone who is not american.

The store manager is absolutely rude.She and the district manager must be friends because nothing is ever done about her ignorance!

Dollar General is a great place shop and the staff are pretty helpful when you need assistance on finding things.
