Was going to bring my cadillac claim to Gerber but it took about 2 minutes of talking to the front desk woman to literally turn around and walk out to call somewhere else. She did not only have 0 interest in helping me resolve my claim but was sharp, cold and almost happy to keep telling me no that everything I expected they cannot do. It was amazing really the one woman back to the right even seen the situation unfolding partly as I did and at least offered some reasoning behind why and how which was nice she should b the 1 up front if u ask me. It was the 1 bit of help, understanding or anything that reassembled customer service. Which I will add is not un common pretty much everywhere i go these days. I will also add that I am very understanding and am a public reviewer on Google of which 90% r positive because I am positive so I look for positivity there was none here. As for the work they do I researched and found average no more no less. Someone said they used to true to form which I gathered is a bad thing? Not sure the origin there but don't expect much help from the front desk besides leaving frustrated and confused. BTW I started nothing short of sunny and tried to keep and pass on that attitude upon arrival and up to about 75% into our conversation. Didn't matter the respect was not mutual it was obvious I was just a thing in front of her that was being a bother and I shouldn't dare ask if I could leave my car there while the claim was being finalized. Which did Beacon not only let me do but they were happy to help me with literally EVERYTHING else i had to resolve or figure out. Even after the fact they have been very pleasant and encouraging throughout this whole miserable process.

The service I received from “Gerber Collision and Glass” in Youngstown Ohio was excellent! The staff is kind and courteous. The repairs were excellent and they returned my car cleaner then when I brought it in. It has been the best service I have received in a very log time!!!Service: Body & Trim

I would totally recommend them. This was my first experience with them due to my insurance company. I so appreciate their professionalism. They were upfront and Friendly. They kept me updated and handled my rental. My vehicle looks amazing!!

They said 10 days, they finished in 2!I picked this shop because it was lined up with my insurance. They initially would not tell me when the car would be finished, and I pried out of them an answer of about 10 days. But later that same day they said it would be ready by Friday. About a day later, around 5:00 pm, they said I could pick it up before they close. Gary was very good at explaining everything. There was a payment confusion involving the insurance company and I overpaid, but Gerber contacted me and refunded what I overpaid to them, so I'm very happy they made the right ethical decision.Service: Body & Trim

I've never been in an accident before, but there's a first time for everything! The person who hit my car had an insurance company that has a preferred partnership with Gerber. After reading reviews I felt confident in trying them out. I certainly hope I won't need their services in the future but I will definitely be back if I ever do. The entire process was extremely professional and the staff are friendly & informative. The communication was also top notch, which is very important to me.

Had them replace my windshield they broke every clip that holds the windshield trim on. Just left it didn't even tell me they broke it just tried to hide it. I'd go anywhere else for glass replacement. I wouldn't even trust them to fix my car after an accident, will probably skip steps to save money.Service: Auto glass repair

The work performed by this body shop was beyond impressive! Not only did they communicate with me daily, via text messages, but I received daily phone calls as well. The work they performed on my SUV, involved replacing a back panel over a wheel well and painting my vehicle. The replacement part was a perfect match and the paint job was flawless. But what impressed me the most was the fact that they detailed the interior of my vehicle before they returned it to me…and this is my DOG TRUCK, meaning dog hair was throughout the SUV not only on the seats but on the carpet mats. When I picked up my SUV it was spotless! I was VERY impressed. It took somebody at LEAST 2 hours to clean the interior of my truck…. And it was part of the service! As an insurance agent (and they didn’t know I was an agent) with quite a large book of business, I will certainly convey my experience to my clients. Was in a car accident tow truck driver try to take my car there on Thursday about 2 PM Mr attitude behind the deck wanted to know if l had appointment since when do you need an appointment to drop a car off after an accident.He said will need to make an appointment. very rude so l just left and took my car some where else.Just a FYI to the owner:::If your wondering why your business is not doing well check out the person working on the front line.
