Very disappointed in save-a-lot. A couple people I know got scammed out of their food stamps right before Christmas shopping at save a lot stores in the boardman, austintown, and surrounding areas. Someone had put a card reader on the credit card machines. Why I give save -a - lot 2 stars because of this...they noticed a problem with their machines running slow management should of check for anything unusual on their machines knowing how popular scams like this are during the holiday season. This incident affected very many people and was on the news.

I noticed some people said they find a lot of things less expensive at Walmart and I do NOT find that to be my experience. I prefer Save A Lot for my staples including bread and milk. Walmart is good for name brand specialty items or a more expanded selection. Meat is much more affordable per pound than anything in Walmart's coolers. My grocery shopping starts at Save A Lot and then I fill in the blanks at other stores.

This store has become very expensive. I have found that most of my basic grocery needs (milk, bread, eggs, butter and sugar) are cheaper at WalMart.

Talk about ghetto this Save-A-Lot as a security guard he's always on the parking lot and just talking to random people is that so much funny about it what's funny about it is that this is a Save-A-Lot what is the security guard 24/7

Grateful to have a neighborhood food store that I can always count on for Fresh meats, Fresh fruits & veggies, and clean isles, friendly staff. All around five stars for sure!!!!!

Unfortunately three stars is the best I can give this place considering I lived in this neighborhood for a long time I'm really pleased to say they are a small Staple in the neighborhood community people do need this store there and they do need help finding something affordable just wish the store would provide better quality Goods however located directly in the middle of the hood they sure do have a decent liquor selection LOL
