About Youngstown Country Club
Youngstown Country Club is a beautiful private club founded in 1898, a gem in the countryside with Tudor style architecture. Its 18-hole golf course is wonderful, probably the best around, lined with old trees and featuring rolling hills and a meandering creek. The course is in great and very nice shape, with perfect greens, nicely cut fairways and rough, and fun sand bunkers. It is challenging but fun, with holes different from every angle. The venue is special for weddings and other special functions, with a staff that goes above and beyond. Inside, the club is beautiful with a grille and bar, a patio, a large formal dining room with a high ceiling, and a sunroom that makes a wonderful gathering place. Amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, and skeet and trap areas. The dining experience is incredible, offering Italian, steak, and seafood, with excellent service. Membership is reasonable.

My father was a member when I was a kid and I had been on the course and in the clubhouse many times but I had never played it until yesterday. It was windy, rainy, and cold but also beautiful. Wonderful golf course, probably the best around.
Greens are perfect. Play it again today still a very good course, it's in very nice shape.

Delightful setting, food was okay but nothing special. Service was impeccable, and they made an excellent martini!
