Went there yesterday and got myself a pleco. I must say, the place is great for both an aquarium store and a pet store. You'll find everything you need here, from filters to fish food, that you won't find at Petsense or Walmart. However, I do wish this place had a bigger selection of fish, as it's the only fish store in Ada without having to drive an hour out of town.

The guy behind the counter was extremely rude I'm assuming that he's the owner, my grandma is deaf in one ear and he had to rudely repeat himself bc she could not hear him, all we wanted were 2 sucker fish that got 5 inches and 4 sucker fish that grew there while life, and he got disrespectful when she was explaining it to him which ones she wanted and she had repeatedly say what she wanted and STILL got it wrong, i never wanna go there again unless theres someone else working terrible service.

Seems run down, like the owners don't care about their Animals cramped in with others.
This place is dirty, nasty and gross. I wouldn't even buy the mold on the floor.... ????

Cute little local business, they had a small selection of critters. But, what they did have looked to be in good condition, I was especially loving the rats and Betta fish unfortunately the rats were not pet quality so I didn't bring one home but I thank the man in the front who told me that I should look at the hamster and such instead. I loved the Betta fish and almost brought one of the mustard Betta fish which was absolutely gorgeous. Overall good store but a few of the Budgies looked rough (long nails and one had a scratch on its eye)

I was waiting for cameras to come out and someone be like, “HaHa! Got ya!” The guy at the counter was extremely rude. Until today I didn’t know it was possible to be so rude while asking, “Can I help you?” I responded that I wasn’t looking for anything specific, then asked if they had fish. Without even raising his head he cut his eyes up at me and pointed toward the back. I eventually realized it wasn’t the back he was pointing at it was the few aquariums next to the desk. Saw a little aquarium decoration that a couple weeks ago I purchased two of at a different place and have been thinking about going back to get another one (not purchased at a discount price, purchased full price at a chain store and paid $20 each for), it had a sticker on it that said 6260 on the front. I didn’t think much of it, sticker for inventory purposes or something who knows? I asked how much it was and was immediately snapped at rudely, “It has a price on it! I don’t remember!” I said, “$62.20?” He snapped again, “Well if that’s what it says!” I will pay a few dollars extra to do business with a small locally owned business but that was insane especially with him acting like you weren’t even wanted in the store to begin with! I did find two antique aquarium bubbler accessories in original packaging with what appeared to be original price tag stickers on them which is what he charged for them. So it wasn’t a completely wasted trip but definitely wouldn’t go back. Looked at a couple dog leashes that were actually rotted. I’m not sure how he’s even open! Was an interesting experience for sure. It’s a shame because I normally love the little family owned shops like that and it could have so much potential!

RUDE! not only was the selection less than impressive, but the owner was rude and hate to me and my daughter! Walked out because I can not allow a grown man speak to my child the way he did. Will NEVER go back!

Will sell dead fish or sell disease infested fish I tried to go back and get a refund but he was being very racist to my dark wife saying he won’t sell to our kind I am not satisfied at all if I could I would press charges at full force

I have an extreme knowledge about pets. I've been breeding reptiles and fish for a long time. This place is clean. UV is provided to those that need it, and the right humidity levels are being maintained for the species seen today. On this good friday holiday, The Man behind the front desk was extremely disinterested in us. He didn't really look like he wanted to be there and he was not very interested in our questions. It was really off putting and doesn't make me want to go back despite how good the animals are being kept.
