Drove all the way from Tulsa to Afton and found a lock on the gate and for sale signs out front. No answer when called. Would have been nice if it was posted they no longer do business at the store, but I'm not sure about the website. Just wanted to let everybody know before they jump in the ride and head that way. Thanks.

I was lucky enough to have Mike as my concealed carry instructor a few years back. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience as he is very passionate about gun safety, but also the rights of the people to bear arms. 5-stars for the concealed carry course. However, more recently, I have been searching for ammo in the 4-state area. Everywhere I call, they are out. Big stores, gun shops, pawn shops...everyone is out of ammo. Excalibur is a bit of a drive for me, but I need the ammo, so I thought I would give them a call. All of my experiences with the people at Excalibur have been positive. I even went to their facebook page first to see if there was any confirmation that they had ammo in stock, but there were no posts even in the current year (2021). I am a bit desperate for ammo. I have none to practice with and almost none to use should I need to defend myself from what appears to soon be a tyrannical government. Whoever it was that answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked if they were selling ammo and I was replied to as though I was the dumbest person on earth. "We're a full-service gun shop, so yeah...we sell ammo." (As though someone was stupid enough to ask them if they're selling ammo when no one else has any.) I started to ask if they have .223 and 9mm, which is what I've been looking for and I was interrupted and spoken to very rudely. "Listen, we are a full-service gun shop and we keep ammo in stock and it is fairly priced. I'm not going to go through my full list of inventory." I was literally shocked that I would be spoken to this way. As I stated before, I have a bit of a drive to Afton. I'm not going to go all the way out there just for them to tell me the only ammo they have is .380 hollow-tips.We are living in difficult times, especially with regard to the gun business. I can understand being under an immense amount of pressure. However, now is the time to be in the gun business. People are selling them hand over fist and cannot keep them on the shelves. Kindness goes a long way and I have been treated this way too many times by people. It's unacceptable and should not have happened. We are all human and make mistakes, but this person went out of their way to be rude and there was absolutely no good reason behind it. He did everything short of telling me to get off the phone because there was no reason for me to be calling.I loved the concealed carry course. Very well done. However, Excalibur has lost my business. Anyone who is rude enough to not take 2 seconds to say "yes" or "no" in response to a simple question is not worth doing business with, regardless of what they're selling.

Mike, It's been another 2 weeks since we talked about my 9mm revolver, you sent off over year ago to Taurus, to be fixed free of charge. I am enquiring again to see if you have resolved this problem with Taurus. You have always indicated that you have tried to check with no response from Taurus other then about 8 months ago you said they got the gun but were behind schedule because of the Manufacturing was being moved to Georgia. This was a simple fix according to what y

Good selection but better service I'll definitely come here again. Glad I found a new shop that's not price gouging ammo. Unlike the one in Grove..
