Nice rv park. But the red head that lives there or runs it… not sure what her name was she was an old lady. But was very disrespectful to me and my husband and accused us of leaving the washer disgusting…. With dog hair…( Which we didn’t) but just because we were doing laundry that day she assumed. She chased our vehicle like a crazy person as we left. So we packed up and left. She needs to be checked. Rather she lives there or works there. Cause she won’t help y’all with y’all’s business by doing that. And said we no longer could use the laundry room. Thanks ?

This place is a great place to hang out for the weekend and let the kids run wild the swimming pool and the grounds are all kept up very nice however, it would be much nicer if it backed up to the water and don’t forget to bring your golf cart. It is a great way to get around.

Came here for music and drinks, was hotter than a pizza oven, but the drinks and sno cones were good.Nearby activities: Drunken rooster is .25-.50mi away and a few odds and ends stores for like boat maintenance and repair and fishing gear, the blind swine in duck creek is .75mi . Afton is about 2 miles away with a plethora of food businesses and stores.Walkability: Very walkable around the lake, and to a couple of bar and grills.

This review is directed at those, like ourselves, that might be traveling through. This park is for those who want to party on weekends, or longer. The office is not staffed. You call when you arrive for any help. Having said this once called the person on duty was helpful and nice. Ice is a bargain. No store or other supplies. There is no wi-fi. We we were told that those staying need to contract with a provider to get service. Cell signal (Verizon) was marginalThere is good space between temporary site. There are no picnic tables. You must provide them to yourself. The slots set aside for those on the move (2 plus years for us) are by the front gate so you can greet everyone coming or going. The "rules" state a 5mph limit. The squashed rabbit in front of our site on day two may have disagreed about adherence to that rule, as we would, watching residents accelerate around the corner in front of our slot. The shower/washroom of two, very basic showers would be adequate for a small park but not for a park closing in on 200 slots. But again, this is not a park for those with interests beyond owning a gravel pad.Two final comments. On the positive, someone loaded our drier with $1.50 to run our load while we went back to catch some AC. But other than the nice guy mowing at 7:30 AM under our window on the day we left, not one person said hello to us in our three night stay.If you are traveling through, they don't want you there. Thanks to the owner for the reply. It is helpful. From the resort website, "RV site rentals include 30/50 amp electric, water / sewer hookups, picnic tables and fire pits!". There were no picnic tables or fire pits at any site within view of where we stayed. As you have clarified, the bathroom/showers are intended for those using the pool or by those with issues with their rigs. This is fine but it is unstated on your website. So for those not familiar with your facility it would be helpful to let folks know in advance what will be provided and what will not. In our travels we've stayed at a number of resorts that cater to members, full/long-term leasers and each have provided bath/shower facilities. We were provided a deep and narrow gravel pad with 50 amp power, sewer and water and good spacing between sites. No table. No fire pit. We we charged $40 per night. Thank you for the offer of a refund. It is not necessary. I wrote my review, which I stand by, as information for others that might be traveling through the area.We wish you well as you continue to improve your facilities.Regards

Zero stars rating is appropriate. It's looks like an amazing place to visit, stay, weekend, etc. It is not. An unhealthy/toxic cesspool are the words to describe this trailer park. Greg Knotts (manager) is unprofessional, rude, yells at individuals, condescending, poor construction, unreliable, etc. If a true-negative review is posted on the FB page, Knotts & the parks clique will attack that post/person. All of the negative reviews that I have read are 100% true. Most of the positive reviews are from the locals that have been friends with Knotts. A hayfield with poor irrigation at best. No lake view either.

Just spent the last week at Grand Meridian. We had an amazing time. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They saw that we had a wonderful time and never needed for anything. Our cabin was a great place for us to relax after action packed days. There were nonstop activities for all ages. We always had the pool when we needed to take it easy. I highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be back.

Full disclosure: this review is solely from the perspective of making pick-ups and deliveries at this location. Getting in and out with a trailer actually wasn't bad and the people I've met thre so far have all been accommodating and polite. Be careful pulling out as the road has a blind spot due to the rise in the road just past the entrance that can cause speedy drivers to be right on your trailer the second you turn out.

Decent place, and location, they did a good job building this out. In about 5+ years when the tiny trees they planted mature, it might be as good as the place across the street. But then it is land locked too. The clubhouse was a great venue for our party.
