“Start the day with PO visit #313 Clinton OK Post Office. Did not know that this settlement start off being call Washita Junction. However, when a post office was started, the postal department would not accept the name of Washita Junction; so the town was named for Judge Clinton F. Irwin. Found this post office to be well took care of and very clean. The people that work here do a great job.”
