The cashier teller who assisted me with closing down my account due to fraudulent activities and them refusing to unfreeze my accounts where I was just asking to close my account and withdraw all the funds that were in the account and and it took 3 and 1/2 hours in the branch in person to verify my identity with all the state local government issued IDs and they were yet. I spent 3 hours that day working on it and they still refuse to cash me out of my account and The account manager supervisor, the relationship manager was called in sick and we needed her authorization to unfreeze the account when. However, she can call the cops on us but not give a phone call to her colleagues and say to unfreeze the account. called the cops on me to escort me off the premises stating that they I was refusing to leave the branch. I don't understand how a branch manager can call the cops on a customer saying that there's people refusing to leave the branch while in the meantime we had the corporate resolution department on the other line telling us to stay in there and stay in the bank a few more moments till they can figure out how to resolve the issue. So we were getting this huge circle going round and round for 3 hours between the fraud department resolution department and the account manager supervisor and the team and we left it empty-handed whenever it was an emergency. I live 6 hours away and needed to withdraw my funds ASAP. Now I'm stuck on the side of the road in my truck with no gas and my grandfather has passed away and I can't get to my funeral due to their incompetence and BMO. They stated to me that I could come anytime tomorrow and work on this again. I don't have till tomorrow but I'm forced to be there so a total about 8 hours. I've been working on this thankfully. Has a wonderful lady by the name of Carol who stepped in and tried to do damage control. She's the only one out of fight people that had in even close to having a resolution or an answer for me. Thank you Carol very much for your time. I wish the rest of your team and Oklahoma was like that but overall is a very very poor experience and I I'm I'm traumatized by this due to my emergency and their lack of caring, I do not recommend this Bank at this location.

Needed a Cashier’s check and there “system” was supposedly down, but the couldn’t tell me if it was just there branch or all BOW locations. When I asked if they could call and find out they rolled their eyes and shook their heads like it was too much of a bother. Horribly RUDE tellers and manager. Don’t have a clue how to assist patrons. I have been a BOW customer since 2000. I am going to withdraw all my $ and close my account due to the terrible service.

Bank of the West corporate is miserable. They made a bank error and it ended up hurting my credit. I’ll never do business with Bank of the West again.

It’s all over social media that they charge $9 to cash a check that’s was made out to them from that bank specific bank! A customer uses them and wrote out a check for the work that had been done only to take $9 from the person cashing it. I know not to go there since there was several comments saying they will never go back because of that! Add me to that list!

Absolutely the worst customer service known to mankind ! It's always something with this bank been a customer for almost 10 years, let's just say fee's fee's and more fee's!! Every single time its something! Had money in my available balance and STILL WAS CHARGED TWO $35 FEES! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. Why haven't I canceled ? Its a huge hassles when all bills come in and out of this account and my business runs through this account as well! Sat on the ohine today for over an hour to have them tell me we can not do anything about the fees. They are overdraft fee's my acocunt never once in the last 3 days had a negative balance. Yet still accrued 2 fees. Reaady to go pull money out and find a new bank! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Multiple occasions this bank has taken money from my account with no explanation why, then they make us wait days to return my money that they removed by their mistake.

This is by far The very worst banking establishment I have ever dealt with. I had a fraud of $160 out of California they refused to put back onto my account saying that it dropped off when I had proof showing that it was negative pending. It never went back on therefore I lost my $160 because they refused to explain to me how once there’s a negative why there wasn’t a positive to follow, their positive was that dropped off!!! Needless to say I closed that account!!
They rank right up there with Wells Fargo!!!
