“The last two days have been an emotional roller coaster. Shelly, Laura, and Robin are just amazing people and it shows when it comes to the animals there. Our new adopted dog Bree ran away and we spent the whole day looking for her. The very next day they came to help us look and in a matter of an hour, they found her and Bree came to Shelly herself! We are extremely grateful for Shelly, Laura, and Robin for everything they’ve done to help us. Thank you!”
“Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bartlesville is truly making a difference in the lives of local kids! Their dedication to mentorship and community impact is inspiring, and it’s incredible to see how they match caring mentors with children who need guidance, encouragement, and support. The staff is passionate, organized, and committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Whether you’re looking to become a Big, enroll a child, or support their mission in other ways, this organization is a cornerstone of positive change in Bartlesville. Highly recommend getting involved—you won’t regret making a difference in a child’s life!”
“This course is gorgeous! It is in FANTASTIC shape - it was challenging, with plenty of variation in the landscape. I was surprised by how amazing the food was too!”
“THRU GOODTIMES AND WHEN WE STRUGGLE, WE CAN COUNT ON MARY MARTHAS OUTREACH TO HELP WITH GIVEING OUR CHILDREN A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Thank you for all that you do!!!”
“They have a wonderful little Museum inside and they have a wall of remembrance for murders outside. They take donations but they actually will provide all kinds of wonderful books and literature and things for people helping them to understand and get eyewitness testimonies from persecuted Christians around the world for free. I have followed them for years but this was the first time I have been to the headquarters. I attended the VOM International Conference. It was wonderful and definitely worth the money.”
“Great place for family fitness. It is usually clean, and I am pretty sure this is the only gym in town that has a steam room and sauna. They also have a heavy bag, and the equipment there is great for training for a match. It's a fighter friendly place and that is very important for me. Thanks for keeping this place up!”
“We recently had a family member with a terminal condition. We were looking for a full time hospice that could stay with her 24/7 during her last days. However, the hospice rep at the hospital was .....well less than helpful. She basically refused to contact any hospice homes based on her extensive knowledge and her assumption that the waiting list at all facility's would not allow us to place our family member in time. Anyway after some very assertive coaxing, she finally made a few calls. In a very short time we were on our way to Bartlesville. The folks at Journey Home were so compassionate to our needs both for my dieing aunt and the family members that made the trip to support her in her final time with us.
The facility was very clean. The volunteers and nurses were all awesome and kept my aunt comfortable for the few hours(about 48hrs) she needed to make the Journey. The home was comfortable. They had all the creature comforts available for the family. The grounds are open and spacious giving plenty of places to sit and reflect in a quiet country setting. But the location offers covienient access right of Hwy 75 just north of Bartlesville near Dewey, OK. Best of all, there is no cost to the family for this service! They of course would appreciate your support with any donation of cash, food, or even volunteering.
We would highly recommend the Journey Home for any family dealing with this very personal time of nee
d.”
