I was told to come back yesterday when a certain lady comes back from pickups so I did and was told to basically comeback June 2nd 2025. On the real after I made my request through the intercom the 1st time that's when I should have been told to come back June 2nd. Word on the the street here in Bartlesville Oklahoma thus organization has been prejudging folks before getting to speak with them on what's going on. I think a lot of people have abused the services and sometimes the real people that need help can't get help whatsoever. I just recently was laid off May 10th 2025 and I'm looking for work and I'm far from a slouch etc...I love to work.

My friend is a veteran who has had to quit working because of health issues! Has been approved for Social Security but doesn't get that until March. Is about to be homeless and Concern sent him to your organization. He called and was told to come over, and between Concern and your building all the doors were locked. He went to one door and was told to go to front which was locked. Now it is Christmas Eve and his gas was turned off today, because you didn't assist him. So no hot water at Christmas time!

Salvation Army , is open to anyone in need. The non profit , can help with food , utilities, rent, even spiritual guidance.

I need little help on some groceries to get us buy til I get my 46 dollars on fs. I do however feel like a few employes, as with their tones they use with the ones needing help that we are beneath them I have came 2 times in a yr and a half, if not 2 yrs.. I try not to need anything for me and my son when he here on weekends.. its hard to make sure I have what he will eat and not gag on.. he has a very equist taste buds and gag reflex.. but I feel that just thier tone and there ora is being very Judgemental.. I'm sure they ha e seen every part of street life and drugs that one can or could ever imagine possible. However just for a moment, 5 sec to walk in her shoes for 47 yrs have u seen or felt any kind of abuse of any kind? What about the billing from other in school cause she wasn't as smart as OTHERS.. BEFORE lying judgment or looking at us or speaking to us in a tone that makes us feel less than.. as we have and are

The lady on the phone was very rude when I called to ask for help with food they told me I had to wait almost 5 hours to get food than when I was supposed to pickup food I was sitting at the hospital and couldn't make it and she got very nasty with me for not being there and they ask for so much information just to get help it is ridiculous all the need is my id and how many in my family but they want your mail you id your ss# your Birthday everyone in you home Birthday your income it's uncalled for if a person didn't need help they would not be there asking for it if the salvation army don't want to help people than they should just stop posting that they help instead of making people feel like they have done something wrong for asking for help

Need to get a website to post dates of food and other events instead of having to call for everything. Also people are rude need to be a little nicer to the ones they help.
