I need a storage unit while in the midst of moving and Storelocal seemed like a great option at the time. However, I was quickly shown that this facility was not the best. While their rates are competitive and they’re in a convenient location, there’s so many problems that I’m surprised nobody else has brought up. Firstly, the air conditioning never works! I went to my units multiple times and the AC was always between 90-99. I understand that they keep it higher to reduce costs, but when the heat is so unbearable that it makes it hard to move things around, it becomes a problem. I had spoken with their customer service multiple times and it’s never been fixed. Also, there’s tons of rodent traps which makes me think that there’s actually an issue and it’s not done for prevention.
If you’re in need of a storage unit, I encourage you to look elsewhere. You may pay a little extra, but it’s worth it!

WOW, what a total joke. The code they provided didn't work, and surprise—no one available on-site to help. Customer support was worse: rude and dismissive, promising they'd call back with a solution. Guess what? Twelve hours later, still no call. The only way I got in was tailgating behind someone else—otherwise, I'd have been totally screwed. This was so frustrating, I had to warn others. Avoid if you value your time and sanity.

Wow, Kenny Taylor with the StoreLocal Storage corporate support area did a great job of taking ownership and leaning in to a service issue I had today. He went above and beyond in making sure my issue around my renter's insurance submission was taken care of. There were challenges with communicating with the local team on getting it resolved. I know the property owner and didn't want these issues to create reputational risk for the property and the business. This property is in a highly growing area and the reputational risk is highly important. Thank you again Kenny for your leadership and ownership for resolving my issues and protecting the Storelocal Storage brand.

The facility in Bixby is really well setup. It’s new, clean, and laid out well for access. The manager, Abby, did a phenomenal job getting me set up. She spent extra time answering questions thoroughly and concisely, and was very polite and direct at all times. That woman deserves the raise. I was pleased with the whole experience.

Avoid the place at all cost 30 days late the cut your lock and the fees start. Less than 90 days and our stuff was auctioned off before I could even get them caught up. They did not send us the legal paperwork to auction our stuff off and I will sue the shit out of them now. They are worse than THIEVES. RENTER BEWARE

I recently had the pleasure of renting a unit at Storelocal Storage in Bixby, Oklahoma, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all of my expectations.
