Cox requires a special setup ID to register online. You can only talked to a robot, which doesn't know what a setup ID is. So I can't manage my payment online until I can that special ID.

Cox is an absolute joke of a service provider. The only reason they have my business is because they are the only real option for where I live in Broken Arrow. In the 2 years I have lived here my service has completely gone out for multiple days on end, the issue always seems to be "a poor fiber signal". Each time I have to wait for a technician to come out and that doesn't even always solve the issue. Today my internet is out again and I had to spend over an hour with a support agent who would take over 10 minutes to respond to a single question and hung up on me after telling me they would schedule a service appointment for me. If I had any other option in the area I would pick it over Cox, do not give this company your business if you can avoid it.

The Internet goes out at least once a week for hours at a time. You can't use them if you have a work from home job without buying a second Internet line from another company as well. You can't watch TV or movies or play games reliably because of the constant outages. I'd pay literally any other provider twice as much for half the speed if the service could just stay on. If you are stuck with cox as a provider make sure to file a complaint with the FCC online.

The only thing you can guarantee that's consistent is the outages and awful customer service

I switched from AT&T to Cox. It’s supposed to be fiber optic. The TV constantly pixelates and buffers. Even my phone on WiFi is slow. Do not recommend.

I've called and canceled our service over 5 times and still getting billed, now they're sending the bill to collections even tho it was canceled 5 times 2years ago. Our bank even helped us to get the payments from coming out of the account cause we called infront of the bank twice to get it canceled and they said it was but obviously no one there is doing their job at canceling accounts when we moved and they don't cover our area

Cox has become horrible, we in Broken Arrow should try Windstream. We throw their leaders away, but something in our area has to be better. COX SUCKS. Service is not dependable , no refunds. When you can tell Cox how long service was out. They are trying to be to big, no people, coverage, or skill. Down with Cox, BROKEN ARROW LETS TRY WINDSTREAM. Cox is past its prime.

They’re technicians are so careless! I don’t even have Cox anymore but since we are next to the service lines in our neighborhood, they are frequently in & around our yard. Today they took it upon themselves to pull our fence doors open even with a lock on it & left them open when they were finished. I have small kids that play in the backyard & I had no idea the fence was open. The door is on the back end of the house so you can’t see it unless you walk around the house. Thankfully I followed my kid around the house to get his bike just in time to see him run for the open fence door. Apparently we are going to have to double padlock the fence because they seem to think it’s fine to trespass if they can get the lock open. I’m furious. They don’t care at all who gets hurt or what they destroy as long as they get what they need to get their job done.

If you are cancelling service, you better keep an eye on your emails, texts, however they contact you. I have canceled my services as I no longer needed them. Was told to leave the equipment at the residence as that is where it belongs. Cool. All taken care of. NOT! I was billed for not returning the equipment. I call them, they said they corrected it. NOT! I call them back. They said they corrected. Guess what? NOT! So I call them for the FOURTH time! They claim they have removed it. They sent me to collections over their false claims! If I get one more email, call, text, mail, there is going to more serious problems than a phone call! THE EQUIPMENT BELONGS TO THE RESIDENCE AS THAT IS PART OF NEIGHBORHOOD CONTRACT!
